I 4got 2 tell y'all I got my record/vinyl/12" yesterday! Willie Dixon's Mighty Earthquake & HUrricane. My pop's had this on tape when I was little and we would listen to it on road trips and whatnot. Well...needless to say, the tape was lost. Even if it hadn't been lost, it was so wore out it woulda been jealous of a hooker from hollywood. Well anyways. I found a 12" of it on ebay and it just came in the mail yesterday. I'm TOTALLY stoked! It sound like the fool is sitting IN my stereo playing. It sounds incredible. I fond a cd of it too, but it's not here yet. These r hard to find as they are out of print. I Think. Willie released this record on his own lable. And...since he ain't columbia or WB or nuffin, there wasn't a butload of them printed. This cd that's coming better not be some cd-r reprint. I'm scared it is cuz Willie's little old label might not have made cd's in '84...they were still pretty new then.

This record is incredible. He has a version of Flamin' Mamie that's 2 DIE 4. "Had little devil's runnin' up and down the walls, sayin Do summin daddy, or she gonna love us all!" His vocal delivery is impeccable on the whole album. I think his bro is plain bass on the record. He's good too. Everythings Gotta Time...Wigglin Worm, GraveDigger. I LOOOOOVE this album and I missed it a BUCNH!
