I like it! Funky track.

I love "Rhythm Nation", it's my favorite Janet album. I would love to hear more unreleased songs from that album.

Thx for posting.

Not bad, but it definitely shouldn't have made the album and it's nowhere near as good as "You Need Me" and "The Skin Game." Still, another b-side would've been nice.

I like it. Funky and could fit no era but RN.

As for MJ, I'd been wanting to hear his version of Satisfy You forever. I eventually gave up but now years later, finally hearing it brought tears to my eyes.

I like it. a more finished version would fit well with the opening bunch of songs from that album. would have been a great replacement for the treacly Livin' In a World.

He co-produced and co-wrote the bulk of Vesta Williams' first album. I LOVE THAT RECORD!!! He also co-produced Sting's "We'll Be Together".

Definitely has an 1814 vibe to it. Kind of reminds me of a cross between "You Need Me" and "The Knowledge".

I wish someone at A&M would start remastering her music and putting some of these outtakes on a disk, along with the videos. The VHS of the 'janet.' album was never put on DVD, which already annoys me. It's time.

I dig the track. I have some other stuff from the RN period that are outtakes.

No, there was a VHS of behind the scenes stuff, not just videos. They were a big water gun fight w/ Janet and the dancers on the set of "You Want This", and Rene kept yelling "DON'T FALL! DON'T FALL!" (scraped knees, etc). It has never been released on DVD. Yes, some of the videos were released, but all the behind the scenes stuff on that VHS wasn't. And remember there's like 3 versions of "IF" (All Dance, Long Version and something else). I remember playing it in the back room of Regis Salon when I worked there in 1994.

I remember reading over this in her discography on Wikipedia at one point. I also recall searching for it on ebay and other sites with no luck...

there are so many janet things that need to be put on DVD like the RN and Janet Tour, they should do a re-release of RN with bonus songs.

That's not even Michael's version, but I hope he'll put it on there soon biggrin

I'm sure Sony or MJ's estate will be putting the smackdown on him before too long. The stuff he wants to put on his website is gold to them now.

couldn't agree more with the above.

also, it is the 20th anniversary of RN. let's get the nostalgia dollars rolling in already.

I don't know. He is the producer of the work and as long as it's not for profit...

Work That Body leaked in 2002 and he just found out about it. One of the engineers put it on ebay
