Yep. It's over. Too bad.

If he had never been around Rihanna, had some serious vocal training, and worked on his ridiculously nescient mentality, he would have been bigger than both Usher and Timberlake by the time he'd turn 25. Oh well.

Good to see so many chivalrous and courteous men on here...men after my own heart in fact.

I personally have never and wouldn't hit a woman...I wouldn't allow a woman to affect me that much.

But Chris has been demonised enough...will he be demonised now 4 the rest of his life now...like Michael?

For a bit of balance though...what of Rihanna's character? Was she blameless?...

If the rumour is true... that she cheated on him and therefore like many modern women, has mistaken female liberation for sexual promiscuity and this was the reason for the altercation...why he lost it...you see because no man in his right mind would want to be seen as a woman 'beater', whatever.

Advice to men..be aware of some female manipulation, womanly wiles...respect your manhood...choose a woman of class, not based on your hormones alone.

Lastly, for all the feminists out there...who feel there are no differences between men and women...you want equality...so what's wrong with men and women hitting each other?

You can't really have it both ways.

And if anyone dares to debate me on feminism...make sure u do your homework... from Betty Friedan onwards...ha!

Well I am happy that you will not allow a woman to "affect you that much". Does that mean you only allow men to affect you that much, if you ever got into a fight with one?

Even if Rihanna cheated on Chris, she still did not deserve to have her face beat in like that. Men cheat on women all the time. Should women beat up or get someone to beat up the offending boyfriend?

Feminism is not about condoning violence between the sexes.Nor does it state that there is no difference between the sexes. It is about removing false limitations which prevent women from being self-actualized. Removing barriers which prevent women from being all they can be in every sphere of life. Some forms of feminism (Radical Feminism) suggest that women should have nothing to do with men precisely because men have demonstrated so much violence towards women. Your suggestion that equality between sexes means men now have the right to beat on women is obscene, twisted and bizarre.*

*Note: I am saying your argument is obscene, twisted and bizarre. I am not saying that you are.

Edited for clarification.

Why is everyone all in there lives. "Rihanna sets a bad example for kids by taking him back" "Chris Brown should apologize to all women" bla bla bla.

These are people, people fuck up. ALOT of people fuck up. When your emotionally invested in someone it can interferes with rationality. End of. We should let these people be. IMO they're both not shit entertainers that I can't wait to be replaced by future great artistic entertainers.
Did Prince ever deny he had sex with his sister? I believe not. So there U have it..

I think it's obvious someone wrote that for him, but he seems sincere to me. I would never condone violence against anyone, but Chris is a young guy barely ouy of his teens and he made a horrible mistake. Why should his career be ruined? There have been many stars who have been in trouble, like the person in my avatar/sig confused, as well as others like James Brown, David Ruffin, etc. Those two were great talents and legends, but had a history of abusing women, yet their careers never suffered because of it. Why should Chris'? He was wrong, he admitted it and apologized. Hopefully, nothing like this will ever happen again and I hope he's learned his lesson. I wish both him and Rihanna the best.

Well that's a good point, but then again look at someone like Ike Turner. His career never recovered after Tina came out and said he had abused her and he was labeled a woman beater for the rest of his life.

I think mainly Mr. Turner career never recovered because he had a serious substance abuse problem. He was no doubt talented (brilliant even) but his former wife in the end was the "face" of the group when she left..... that was the end of that.

Like hell they didn't! rolleyes That idiot (Rhianna) was riding on the same damn water bike with Chris and everything at Sean Combs' rented mansion.

lol That's why I stated he needs "serious vocal training." lol. And to me, his choreography looks better than the other two (Usher, Timberlake), and he has more potential for learning new dances. shrug But that's meaningless now. Brown's career is done. No matter what he learns now, it will never look right.

I never saw a pic of Rihanna jet skiing in Miami. In fact, that was part of the criticism--he was out having fun in the sun while she was nowhere to be found.

I have my doubts about whether they ever really got back together, too. To me it felt more like both parties thought it would be in their best interests to put on a united front in hopes of minimizing the seriousness. It didn't work, obviously. And when she started to receive backlash, they "took a break".

I find Chris Brown unappealing and always have really. He has cold eyes and a flat persona. He's a good dancer, but there's nothing unique there. Also, his voice is whiny. He's just an average entertainer whose management and fans have pumped him up to believe he's some type of heir to Michael Jackson. He so isn't and never will be. He'll still have a career, as even R. Kelly still sells. But, I don't see Chris being a big mainstream act again.
