This country sucks, I'm gonna go move somewhere else after college. I was born, raised and continue to live in the South. I notice prejudice (which I really call stupidity) every day. It don't faze me unless directed at me. But luckily I'm human enough to realize that racism is an illness that you get when you're around folks that harbor those attitudes. The only way you can avoid it is not look at it that same way which luckily not every kid has.

We live in a predominantly black area in North Carolina at what my family calls "the country", we have a large field and sometimes my dad will go out riding on his ATV (I rode with him but my ATV started to have trouble so now it's just him). We used to get into some prejudicial shit with Mexicans who will go over there and try to interrupt our riding by taking off steps we put down there so we can ride around the back paths. It stopped after a while though. Since then we've got on real good. The white folks we've encountered have been nothing but nice to us.  | |

I just don't get why people would think because you wear things associated with women that automatically makes you "gay", I just don't buy that. Plus if anything what they do is unisex because men DO like to wear makeup. Not ALL but some do and they're either asexual, bisexual or straight.
