I've been digging John Mayer lately and wanted to know what was the feelings about this guy. 'Continuum' is fantastic and he was hilarious on 'Chappelle Show'.

John's one of hte last of the great mainstream talents. He's got a lot of personality, talent, and he's really funny to boot.

I've liked him since Continuum

I like his sense of humour and sometimes he sums things up perfectly. This is my favourite song of his:

I think he's a talented musician
who makes boring music

I also like how earlier cuts by Johnny showed off his Stevie Ray Vaughan influence in his guitar playing.

Whereas "Continuum" seems to be his homage to Eric Clapton's influence on his playing. Performing with Slowhand probably had a little to do with that shift.

shucks i've been digging him since his first album. you got to get all his stuff, each one has something special. he's really a talented artist.

Get his live album from last year. One of my favourite albums full stop. Great voice, great band, great songs, great guitarist.
