Considering the woman should have never been near a stage her whole life. Please don't confuse 'sleeping your way to the top' with longevity... or 'trying hard' with talent. her shows are excellent, what are you talking about? what is she supposed to do? Donate money? After all, it's not M's fault. And she certainly didn't force the people to work fo her. At the end it's simply a tragedy that will be forever connected with the S&S Tour. [Edited 7/18/09 6:42am]

Madonna To Visit Workers Injured in Stage Accident July 19, 2009 Madonna continues to pay tribute to those killed and injured when part of a set collapsed on stage workers at a Marseilles stadium. On Sunday she arrived in the French city to visit some of the workers, city officials report. The more gravely injured are in three local hospitals, and Madonna will visit some or all of them. The singer said last week that she was "devastated" by the accident. "My prayers go out to those who were injured and their families along with my deepest sympathy to all those affected by this heartbreaking news," she said in a statement. Madonna was originally set to perform Sunday at the Velodrome, a 66,000-seat venue where the accident occurred July 16 when a crane raising the roof of the stage set collapsed. A French lighting technician, Charles Criscenzo, 53, was killed on the stage, and Charles Prow, 23, from Great Britain, died shortly after at a hospital. At least eight other workers, some part of Madonna's traveling stage crew, were hospitalized. A criminal investigation has been launched into the cause of the accident. Madonna's Marseille concert has been canceled. The next stop on her concert tour is a sold-out show in Barcelona July 21. http://www.people.com/peo...59,00.html
