I think bboy87 mentioned it in one of the earlier MJ stickies. Can't find it back immediately.

victory tour waS in 1984
from 1984 until his last peformances he did the same show over and over again with not a single bit of being spontanious
but in the begging he was at list peforming live latter it was all about pyrotehnics and circus too bad fans never bother to be angry about this as long as he was grabbing his crouch

A few weeks ago,I read an amazing article in USA Today that gave alot of details of what was planned for the tour. Can someone re-print that article?

It revealed that "Wanna Be Startin Something" was the opening song, and described the special effects that would be used for the song "Thriller".

So,along with the rehearsal footage that we've seen,we know three songs that were part of the setlist:

Wanna Be Startin Something
Thriller
They Don't Care About Us

Id be interested to see it - although it will definitely have been dominated by Thirller and Bad material.

Apparently the show had been filmed in its entirety during full dress rehearsals, and the footage is currently in the process of being sold to Sony, so Im sure more details will follow - if not an entire recordings.

He was always really reluctant to change his shows, and update his setlists, which i thought was ashame, but he was big into his tight choreography. By all accounts he hated touring, so it'd make sense that he was never that into changing his shows so much.

His live peak was the Bad tour. As a polished performer - i dont think anyone could entertain like he did on that tour. Strong vocals, mindblowing dancing, a tight band, and hardly any theatrics or elaborate staging. How its not been given an offical release defies belief.

i know a few of the songs from fans who were at the rehersals and they included

Will you be there (they heard Michael singing it and messing up the lyrics)
Thriller (mixed with Ghosts and Threatened)
Billie Jean
Dirty Diana (ment to be done with a trick with someone ending tied to a bed and michael reappearing somewhere else)
They Dont Care About Us (mixed with History and Why You Wanna Trip On Me)

I cant remember of the top of my head any of the other songs sorry
With Love there is no Death

Dirtyman i see that you are big Michael Jackson fan and that i broke your sweet little heart with the things i said so you started insulting me but everything i said here is the TRUTH:

but in the begging he was at list peforming live latter it was all about pyrotehnics and circus ,

U see i am also fan of Michael but i'm very critic and objective fan.
i think that Michael was amazing vocalist ,
very percussive voice and those hichops and yelps
he started using since 1973 are amazing, nobody can do that like him.
I think that Michael is great composer in pop world.

he have made some of the best BASS LINES (see :Billie Jean) and melodies that are unique and beautiful.
Even if he didn't know to play a single lick on any instrument(except his voice which is instrument)
But Michael was lazy about his solo tours ,he peformed setlist

that didnt change since 1987 bad tour with the exception of adding few songs here and there .
As the time progressed amount of live singing by Michael started to be a rarity on his concerts.
and did you know that Michael on the Neverland didn't have a music STUDIO eek eek eek eek eek .
And he was so many years in music and he never bother to pick a music instrument.
If he played something his concerts would have
been much better and maybe he would be still alive today.
He could make intimate tours where he would be playing

piano or guitar and that way he wouldn't be inspired to take drugs because he can't sing or dance the way he used too.
With his sense of timing just imagine How great guitar player or piano player Michael could have been/
