Walter is still alive. Milan Williams (keys) is the one that passed a few years ago. I think Walter and William are the ones that have the issues with Lionel.

Yes they did. I don't know if that's still the case but that is the
key as to whether or not you will have a complete reunion minus the
late Milan Williams. I know a couple of years ago after Milan's death
and the talk of a possible reunion Walter and William posted on their
myspace page that they acknowledge and appreciate the contributions
of past members they were only interested in moving forward. This saga
continues to get interesting. Hopefully these guys can get together and
tour one last time.

its time to let egos down for fans sake.
without lionel they can only be a third rate band playing casinos,with lionel they could tour all around the world and larg avenues.

Yeah,I feel the same way.I wish that they had reunited in the early 90s.That's when we were going the whole 70s revival.Alot of funk/R&B bands were getting back together in the 90s.It would have made alot of sense for the Commodores to reunite back then.
