Bonus Old School R&B Song Of The Day(12/18/2002) Chic-Chic Cheer

This is an underrated classic track from the innovative funk-disco group. This is from their breakthough album called C'est Chic. I love this song because it reminds you what made them so special. You can surely hear Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards's formula being shaped and molded on this piece. Notice how Bernard's bass interlock within Nile's lead guitar line to create a catchy riff that serves as the main hook of the song. This is surefire dance floor stuff right here. I remember always turning the radio up when this one came on the radio back in 78'. Plus it takes me back to the days when me and friends would go to the disco skating rink on the weekends..lol

Faith Evans and Sean Puffy Combs have sampled the riff on this song. Great stuff!!!

"Chic Chic...CHIC"

"Chic, Chic...CHIC"

Enjoy!!!

I love the entire 'C'est Chic' album, especially the songs "I Want Your Love","At Last I Am Free" and "Funny Bone".
