I don't mind his family questioning things but to say that is pushing it. Besides MJ and Sony was getting along after Tommy left the label and what happened with MJ and ATV no one really knows. Because there's too many stories that are not clear of what happening but murder was the farthest thing from my mind and it remains so.

Murray team offers little insight on Jackson case
Spokeswoman skeptical of reports police closing in on pop star's Houston doctor By TODD ACKERMAN HOUSTON CHRONICLE July 18, 2009, 9:45PM Thomas Nguyen For the Chronicle A spokeswoman says Dr. Conrad Murray, who was with Michael Jackson when the pop star died, has been trying to return to a normal life. The Houston cardiologist who was at Michael Jackson's side when the pop singer mysteriously died last month will not respond to media inquiries until the police investigation into the death is finished, representatives said. “We are waiting on real information to come from viable sources like the Los Angeles medical examiner's office about the death of Michael Jackson,” said Miranda Sevcik, a public relations consultant assisting attorney Ed Chernoff. “We will not be responding to rumors, unnamed sources or innuendo.” She added that Dr. Conrad Murray, who took an indefinite leave from his Acres Homes clinic in May to be Jackson's personal doctor, has been told nothing to corroborate the suggestion, reported by TMZ.com and picked up by numerous media outlets, that police are closing in on Murray as the central target of the investigation. “Investigators certainly haven't shared that with us,” Sevcik said. Police haven't asked to speak with Murray since the three-hour interview conducted June 27, Sevcik said. She said police have issued no subpoena or warrant against Murray and neither requested any additional information nor imposed any restriction of movement. She said Murray was trying to return to his normal life. Sevcik said police have not informed Chernoff that Murray's status has changed from witness to suspect. She said she would expect them to do so if there were such a change. Los Angeles Police Department spokesman Bruce Borihanh would only say Jackson's death remains the subject of an ongoing investigation. He said no information is being released on its progress. Murray told police he found Jackson lying on his bed and unconscious, with only a weak pulse, on June 25. Because Jackson was so frail, Murray administered CPR with one hand behind Jackson's back. Jackson, 50, was pronounced dead at UCLA Medical Center that afternoon. The death turned the spotlight on Murray, a 1983 graduate of Texas Southern University who opened an Acres Homes clinic in 2006 to continue the legacy of his late father, a primary-care physician in the underserved area. It's still unclear how much time Murray devoted to Houston — his primary practice and residence are in Las Vegas. The last three years and the years at TSU were the only times Murray lived in Houston, according to biographical information provided by Chernoff. He was born in St. Andrews, Grenada, where his maternal grandparents cared for him, before moving to Trinidad and Tobago to join his mother and stepfather at age 7. He met his father, Dr. Rawle Andrews, for the first time at 25. New drug comes to light Murray completed his TSU degree in pre-medicine and biological sciences in three years, graduating magna cum laude. He went to Meharry Medical College in Nashville, then did his residency at Loma Linda University Medical Center and his cardiology and interventional cardiology training at the University of Arizona and the University of California at San Diego, respectively. He is not board certified in either specialty. Murray did not give Jackson Demerol, Oxycontin nor any other drug that could have killed him, Chernoff said three weeks ago. But more recently the focus has been on the numerous bottles of Diprivan (propofol), a powerful anesthetic found in Jackson's rented Bel-Air mansion. Comment declined The drug is typically only used in hospitals and administered by trained specialists, such as anesthesiologists or certified nurse anesthetists. It is not available by prescription and would likely have had to have been taken from a hospital. Sevcik did not respond to questions whether Murray administered the drug, saying investigators told the doctor not to answer media speculation going forward. One leading Houston anesthesiologist said it's not hard to picture unmanaged propofol leading to death. “It essentially stops you from breathing, which is easily managed in a hospital with ventilators and trained doctors and nurses,” said Dr. Joseph Naples, chairman of Anesthesiology at Methodist Hospital. “But in a home setting, not administered by trained specialists, it could easily lead to respiratory failure. That would cause the cardiac arrest.” Drug quickly dissipates A doctor told the Associated Press on Thursday that propofol is “a smoking gun” in the investigation, but Naples said the body metabolizes it so quickly he would be surprised if it shows up in the toxicology report, which is still not due for at least a week. Naples also said it would be difficult for someone to self-inject propofol. Just finding a vein can be difficult, he said, particularly if the drug has been injected with any previous frequency. Though Naples said he hadn't previously heard of anyone using propofol as a sleep aid, a 2007 study in the journal Anesthesia & Analgesia found abuse of it is a growing problem. The study found 18 percent of 126 academic anesthesiology training programs surveyed nationwide reported one or more incidents of propofol abuse in the previous 10 years. Seven died as a result, six of them medical residents. The Drug Enforcement Administration said Wednesday it is considering adding propofol to the list of controlled substances.

Jermaine Jackson Tells TMZ to "Get Their Facts Straight"
Megan Masters Megan Masters – Sat Jul 18, 5:51 pm ET Los Angeles (E! Online) – Are the Jackson brothers really performing in Jamaica or what? We're still not totally sure. Depending on who you listen to, the answers seem to vary. Yesterday, TMZ reported that Jermaine Jackson would be joining his brothers Tito and Jackie Jackson onstage at the 17th annual Jamaican Reggae Summerfest in Montego Bay, but the performer was singing a different tune when E! News caught up with him on a Friday afternoon shopping spree. Jackson's choice words for the ever accurate gossip hounds? "No. TMZ needs to get their facts straight. We're not going to Jamaica." So there you have it. It's a no-go for Jermaine, but does that "we" apply to the rest of the family affair? Apparently not, because according to Summerfest spokesperson Damian McGann, "Both of the brothers will perform on Saturday night. This is dedicated to the memory of Michael." Guess we'll just have to wait and see which Jacksons actually take the Jamaican stage next weekend. —Additional reporting by Lindsay Miller ··· THEY SAID WHAT? Jackson Reunion Tour in the Works?
Brandi Fowler Brandi Fowler – 2 hrs 31 mins ago Los Angeles (E! Online) – Michael Jackson's death left a huge void in the music world. His brothers may be trying to fill at least one of them with the rebirth of the Jackson….four. It appears that the King of Pop's passing may spurn a mini-reunion tour for the surviving members of the Jackson 5. Jacksons Tito, Randy, Marlon and Jermaine are reportedly in talks with concert promoters AEG to perform at the O2 Arena in London, according to the Los Angeles Times. That would be the same venue where the King of Pop was set to stage his comeback with 50 shows, before he died June 25. While a rep for AEG has yet to comment, according to the L.A. Times, any show put on by the brothers would not be a one-off: They are reportedly negotiating for several dates at the U.K. venue.
