I mean he was still dancing and spinning around. Damn shame Yes. Im starting to think that I shouldnt have watched it. My stomach kinda hurts now. Maybe his adrenaline was so high that he didnt feel the fire? The video is just surreal. I mean... wow! That fire looked like it burned damn near to the cranium. I bet he had to have some serious skin grafts. I feel so bad for him. Remember people used to make fun of him because his head caught on fire? Damn shame. Some people are beyond cruel. According to reports, he did.

Clearly there's some footage of Michael coming down the steps after the pyrotechnics hit him (of course they didn't show him as his hair caught fire and he was spinning at the time or kept it in the archives). Exactly. In the movie, they have him posing and dancing on the stairs when in the footage, he was at the bottom when he realized his hair was on fire. The film got his ass tumbling down 30 stairs! So extra Yeah MJ was actually clueless to the fire initially. MJ went down like a gangsta though he was unaware compared to the dramatic movie re-enactment!

You mean that's what furthered it. MJ was already showing signs of vitiligo as early as 1981.

But watch the actual footage, it looks much worst but man, please don't hate for this but I was trying so hard not to laugh at the spinning part, I know that wasn't cool but still, did MJ really think that would work? You mean that's what furthered it. MJ was already showing signs of vitiligo as early as 1981. Right but that accident made it a whole lot of worse since it caused his body to go through a great amount of stress.

Y'all need to quit. That burn was no joke especially when you hear about it from Arnie. Plus the jheri curl juice made it extra flammable. He was probably in so much pain. Poor thing. I still aint watching

That was quite serious. I always thought it was over blown but it turns out it was understated.

[Edited 7/15/09 13:57pm] I saw the actual footage and saw the bald spot it left in his head. I know he was in so much pain. I admit, I did laugh at the spin only because I kept thinking about how bad the film portrayed the incident. In one of the interviews with MJ's friends, he even mentioned Michael spun around and his spin did blow the flame out. I think he didnt feel the burns until AFTER the spin.
