Hard rock: I really like the Pink Fairies' Never Never Land album from 1970, which is one of the most intense rock albums of the period. It's fast and aggressive with searing guitars. They shoulda been huge!

Moby Grape is one from the 60s that I truly love, and think should have had more recognition than they ever got. Their first album is one of the most perfect ever made. If you like 60s rock stuff like Buffalo Springfield and the Byrds you gotta hear them.
