Since i been gone i been listening to other artist songs,and i came across Born In The USA(Song) its a very great song.Which 1 would u choose

Odd to compare them, but they were both huge albums of the mid 80's I suppose.

If its the track "purple rain" VS "born in the USA", I go with Bruce. If its the album, definately Bruce. Not a huge fan of the "purple rain" album.

I'm a bigger fan of Bruce's than of Prince's but Born in The USA is one of my least favorite Springsteen albums. Not to say it's not good. It's very good at what it is, sort of the three minute, radio friendly stuff. Thats never been the best bruce to me. Purple Rain the album hands down. But, if we are talking singles? Born In The USA has one of the all time great riffs, Purple Rain was never really a fave of mine in spite of it's popularity. Born In The USA!

I rediscovered that album one or two summers ago!

Yeah, it's tight.

used to love Born In The USA (album)... then hated it for some reason. was digging it A LOT earlier this year.


but it's no PR....

Now, if you want to talk darkness or Born To Run that's a whole nother story.
