Does anyone want to see Solid Gold on DVD?

I would. From what I have seen on youtube, they always had a diverse batch of artists on there

Now, this is a show that I'd rather see some "Best Of" DVDs rather than entire seasons. They had some great peformances but they also had some horrible ones too...like Dionne Warwick singing duets with popular country singers at the time. lol

It would be fun to see again - but really I agree with the lip syncing. God that sucks! But because it was from my youth, id check it out. I like to see those solid gold dancers wink

depends on who the host was. the marily mccoo episodes kinda sucked but the ones with that blondish white guy weren't too bad. the dancing was not bad either. that one chick with the big forehead and really long hair and great legs was very talented. damn the shit you find on you tube. confused

It would be a great thing but two things are against it. One is the labels of the different artists who would fight for $$$. And TWO is the market thinking, they are too concerned with putting out a DVD of shows that just aired a week ago then something classic. When i was doing the music retail thing i always had peeps looking for classic soul on DVD, not frigging Usher's concert from last tour
