I have this song my whole life and never knew who sang it. Howard's voice is similar to someone else's, but I can't think of who at the moment. Whatever happened to this guy?

"So Fine" wasn't the first time we heard Howard. In the late 70s,he was a member of a band called Niteflyte. They scored a hit called "If You Want It",released in the summer of '79.

My alltime fave mellowgroove. Yeah, bought the reissue a few years ago. Good remastered imo.

Cool track indeed. I have one album on vinyl and the coversleeve shows them photographed with an aeroplane or something like that, but i didn't play the LP for sometime now.
There's another album with an illustrated coversleeve, and both albums were reissued in Japan on cd, a few years ago.

Lol, and i'm surprised they're still available over there, since i believe they're officially out-of-print. But then again, Dusty has that great service that they will search for an available copy, even when deleted.
I couldn't believe when i received one day from them in the mail an out-of-print Japanese cd-reissue by the Brazilian duo Burnier & Cartier, which i almost had given up the hopes for to possibly find it already lol,
because the original vinyl is even much harder to find, hence the astronomical price which is usually asked for.

Yup, together with a few other sites, they're a great oasis of reissues lol.
I dig also these online shops with reissues :

www.funkytowngrooves.com

www.vinyl-masterpiece.com

Yeah, those 2 were for a long time only available on Japanese print and sold for much at online auctions. I've heard that "Out Of Control" was reprinted (not in Japan) but didn't know yet that "Winners" has been reissued too. Cool.

I wish they would resissue the Brothers Johnson's 1982 album 'Blast' which has never appeared on CD.Yeah I know it's mostly a greatest hits set but I'm a completist lol I want it on CD.
