for some reason I think that the one hit wonders for the 1990's are really from 1990 - 1992.. then great music .. then 1998 - 1999

The Verve definitely counts as a 1-hit wonder here in the US. Still, I didn't post "Bitter Sweet Symphony" because I actually prefer the follow-up, which is the band's biggest hit in the UK:

disbelief "Sour Girl" is STP's highest charting single on the Hot 100 (#78, hardly a "hit"), but they were superstars on the Mainstream Rock charts (13 top-5 singles including 6 that hit #1: Plush, Vasoline, Interstate Love Song, Big Bang Baby, Lady Picture Show, and Trippin' on a Hole in a Paper Heart).

I've always loved that New Radicals song. music

Joe Public- Live and Learn- http://www.youtube.com/wa...8OxBZHn_4g

They would allow the video to be embedded.

There was also a One Hit Wonder that sung a song called When I'm With You, but I forgot his name. I think it was Tony, or Tone. Something with a T.

I know, right? I'm still shocked "Sour Girl" is their biggest pop hit, but I guess that makes sense.

You're thinking of Tony Terry. I wouldn't count someone like him personally. "With You" is his only pop hit (#14), but he has a few other R&B hits; "She's Fly," "Lovey Dovey," and "Everlasting Love" (my favorite) all hit the top 10 as well as "With You."

Hell yeah, if there ever was a ubiquitous STP track, I'd think it was "Interstate Love Song". That song was #1 on the rock charts for like three months! To this day I'm still tired of hearing it because it got overplayed so much in the 90s.

Yeah, when I think of STP, I think of "Interstate Love Song" and "Plush." I'd never get tired of the former, though; I think it's the best thing to ever come out of the grunge era.

Skee-Lo - I Wish
Luniz - I've Got Five On It
Mark Morrison - Return of the Mack

These were my favourite.
