Well can somebody feel me in? The first time I have ever seen, or heard of him was when he was on that awful performance with Lil Wayne on the BET Awards. The worst performance of the show. So who is he and where did he come from? I sure hope he isn't the next big rap star.

It's funnny. I watched Degrassi from the beginning and "Jimmy" has rapped on there, but NEVER did I think he'd be with Lil' Wayne, all gangster and blowing up.

There is a precedent (or 2) with Canadian kid actors becoming big pop starts; think Alanis Morrisette.

Another example of how rap is like WWF wrestling nowadays. Fake and full of actors.

word on the street is dude can spit. he's done a couple mix tapes that were said to be pretty dope and sparked his buzz to the point where kanye and wayne took note. so wayne didn't "discover" him per se. i haven't heard him and don't plan to, but when someone like me isn't CHECKIN' for a cat like Drake but somehow still manage to hear about him, his buzz is significant.
