PrintableI live in the san francisco bay area and I was suprsied by the number of people calling radio talk shows complaining about the MJ coverage. Many of them were appalled by the amount of people honoring him. The problem with MJ fans is that they think everyone and their momma was mourning MJ's death. A lot of people could've gave a damn. I heard some of the most hateful things said about him. Also, not everyone in the world knows who MJ is. We don't know how Prince or Madonna will be viewed or honored once they die. I know one thing though that they both have enough fans to feel the staples center for a memorial, too. Prince believes he is a musical prophet that has been chosen by Jehova to guide his fans to the "truth". | |

yeah probably a bunch of white people. People don't seem to realize that michael had a huge fan base. They are honoring him as a musician, performer, entertainer and humanitrian...they are not honoring his personal life. some white people don't seem to realize what michael has done for the music industry such as knock down racial barriers etc. they just know him as a singer who moonwalks. | |
