Narada taking credit from Wally Afanasieff?

http://www.psych.mcgill.c...sieff.html

Not surprised I guess. This whole "giving co-writing credit as a thankyou for employing my ass" must be quite common for people who were like Wally working for Narada at the time. I also found it interesting at how much of the setting up he does for Mariah. I knew they always co-wrote, but it seems he did more then maybe fans know? Oddly, I dont think he co-wrote any of the work he did for Michael Bolton.

I tend to prefer Wally's production over Narada's, but they both sound quite similar and glossy as hell, along with other mega producer of that time, David Foster. Wally's thick ass, to the front, keys on Boltons "time love and tenderness" song are killer LOL. Thats the best production I think he has done.

Interesting how Wally left Narada, after he took production credit over a song that was allegedly mainly his. I know Wally still worked with Narada in 1989, but I dont have any stuff with them both after that date? Maybe Wally left over a track for d'atra hicks album that came out in 89?

I love Wally's solo on Eddie Murphy's "till the moneys gone" bytheway. Fun stuff. lol

Walter Afansieff is a pop music producer and writer. He wrote for Michael Bolton and Mariah Carey. Narada Walden is pretty much alive and kicking.

I gotta admit I lost track of both Walter and Narada after the early-mid 90's (this is mainly due to myself not liking much pop music after that LOL). Narada's work probably dried up somewhat by the mid-late 90's, but he had an amazing track record of hits.

Last cut that I saw Wally on was MJ's "fall again" in the late 90's, but no doubt he is still around.
