Arguably 3 of the biggest stars of the 80's in one shot. I love this pic:-

Arguably, there are 4!!! Lionel Richie, Michael Jackson, Quincy Jones and Phil Collins. So who are you leaving out...Lionel or Quincy? falloff

Klein is on Larry King- he says that vitiligo is an autoimmune disorder like lupus and that mike was diagnosed with both. that mike's vitiligo was so bad that his skin was speckled. so it would have looked ridiculous to wear enough makeup to cover it-so he prescribed a cream to even out his skin tone. he said michael is black and was proud to be a black man

The memorial service was very respectable-fitting of a king wink May Michael rest in peace and may God keep his children. Looking at the pic posted earlier of MJ and Prince Michael II-he looks just like him as a child eek All of his kids look like him. I wish people would stop saying they are not his kids confused It's really sad that MJ had to die for folks to see his human side-he was a dad who loved his kids.

i still can't get over it, though. why would he think mj would be lying about something like that? couldn't mj have shown quincy the proof? did quincy just not want to look? and cold, dismissive, nasty way that he maligned mj *and* his kids is what really gets me.

Michael Jackson's family were stunned that Diana Ross didn't attend his memorial service.

Interesting how Michael allegedly said "rap is dead" when Quincy tried to hook MJ up with Run DMC for the "bad" album, calling Quincy out of touch. Then of course, Michael hired a few rappers for "dangerous" LOL.

He sounds abit bitter that Michael dropped him, heck, who wouldn't be? But credit to Quincy for speaking his mind and not sugar coating....

...Whilst I loved MJ's work post Quincy Jones, theres no question Quincy, along with Mike to a lesser extent, masterminded that famous trilogy of albums they did together. The production and songs in general on those 3 albums are insanely good. The arrangements, staff writers, mixers etc... made those MJ compostions come alive. Without Quincy, the albums wouldn't sound half as good....

....No one else woulda really done that for Mike. Those 3 albums are as much about Quincy's arrangement and production gimmicks, along with his staff writers, mixers, engineers etc... as they are about Mj's songs and input in general.

Klein is on Larry King right now.

He's helping MJ out a lot by talking about his lupus and Vitiligo condition.

in a nutshell, this is the reason mj had to leave quincy.

if memory serves, quincy has said that mj was mostly at the helm for bad. further, although i have not heard it, other posters have stated that the demo for 'don't stop 'til you get enough' was practically indistinguishable from the finished product. that was *all* mj.

finally, those of us who remember the jacksons, remember that mj and his brothers did some pretty good stuff on their own.

i'm not saying that they weren't a great team a la taupin and john, or the beatles with george martin (?), but everyone puts most of mj's success down to quincy, exclusively, and mj knew he had to move away before he was seen as merely a producer's product - like his sister is seen to some extent with jam and lewis. but i'm not sure he was successful since most people hold your opinion.

Yeah, I know its a common thing to say MJ was nothing without Quincy, but Iam not saying that really. I think that Quincy taught him so much about the studio, and also about having the best people around you to help you at all times and that its hard to ignore how brilliant the work Quincy and his team did on those 3 albums...

...No question Michael was involved, particually on his own compositions, and as you said, particually on "bad", but Quincy's production tricks and his knack for picking great songs not written by Jackson (Rod Temperton, the guys behind "human nature" "man in the mirror" etc..), were almost second to none. Pretty much everything Q did for/with MJ was second to none! No wonder Quincy musta been abit bemused when MJ allegedly didn't want to work with him anymore. Would of been great if they had continued working together to some extent, but hey, history's history!

That "rap is dead" comment by Michael reminds me of what Prince musta been thinking at that time aswell LOL. And both got involved in some extent to rap. I guess alot of people/press thought rap was a passing fad? Quincy was right though, and he even put rappers on "back on the block".

there is a mixed race man working in my office with the same color and textured hair as prince and with as light a complexion. the only way we would possibly know he's black is because he has told us, referring to himself as a 'swirl baby' (black colloquialism for mixed race.)

so put a sock in it - you don't know everything.

I thought Janet currently lives in Altanta as she no longer lives out in Malibu and that would be a huge adjustment to the kids of relocating with her down south. And plus I always come across from Janet that she prefers to be the role as an auntie or a baby-sitter not a mother, and I doubt that she is willing to take responsible for three kids or she would have been step up after Michael had died. Despite the nannies, still being responsible to three kids abruptly isn't no joke. Not every woman is meant to be a mother and if she doe not end up getting the kids then of course the least she could is to keep them for awhile but so can her other brothers and sisters and she already she currently taking care of Jermaine's kids financially and plus she got her own life to run too. Give the woman a break there are other siblings who aren't doing too much and they should be consider to step in to help out until at least they turn 18.

I think the kids should to the ones who currently lives in Hayenhurst compound other than Katherine. Or better yet there Michael's niece and nephews who are now in their thirties to consider too.
[Edited 7/8/09 17:55pm]

i would say that by the way Paris was with Janet that the kids would perfer to live with Janet over the other brothers and sisters if it came down to it. Though Rebbie would be a good choice.
