And unfortunately whose name you don't often see listed as a "rock 'n' roll pioneer" either.

OMG I love Frankie Lymon. He had such a great voice at such a young age. Too bad he couldn't beat his herion addiction. Is it me but doesn't MJ at a young remind one of Frankie Lymon? BTW, I love the movie that was done on his life.
Prince believes he is a musical prophet that has been chosen by Jehova to guide his fans to the "truth".

Frankie paved the way for him (and so many others). Frankie's often credited as the "father" of the girl group sound. Ronnie Spector & Diana Ross admitted long ago that Frankie was their vocal inspiration. He recorded some fine songs as a grown-up but he never was able to live that long to express that part of himself.

Yes, the young MJ reminds me of Frankie Lymon.

One of my favorite songs by Frankie was, "Goodie, Goodie". It seemed to show a playfully devilish side of him.

cool great - very underated. But after his voice changed his songs didn't have the same effect it had when he was younger. Aside from the drugs that's another reason why his carrer went dead (no pun intended)
Some people think I'm kinda cute
But that don't compute when it comes 2 Y-O-U.
