That documentary was an "American Masters" production,
done soon after Ms. Vaughan death. They did kinda a
a hatchet job .... I hate when they cut pieces of a program to fit a time slot. Anywho, the (above)clip is just one they cut; that's Bob James on piano.

Runtime 90 min. What is it, for every 30 min of TV they're 15 min of commercials? So, to fit that show into a 60 min runtime the sliced a little here and there.

Let me say this for those who saw the documentary or may have a chance to view it in the future. At the end of that where Vaughan sings Stephen Sondheim's
"Send In the Clowns", you hear and see Vaughan's mastery.. genius. At one point in the third verse of that song Vaughan holds and controls those notes so that it almost sounds as if she's throwing her voice. I heard her in concert do this,amazing.
