Sorry, but I'm more in favor of The Brass Peacock. I like the names, don't get me wrong - but upon thinking about it, Elm Street Blues sounds like a condition that might require medication. I'm not sure what brass has to do with foul, but I think it's eclectic enough to represent a bar/restaurant that *is* different.
As a side note, many years ago, I had friends in Denver who wanted to open a coffeehouse with the name "The Art of Coffee." I always questioned their choice for a name, as 'the art' part didn't seem like a proper noun to visit and was hard to remember. Their place sounded more like a logo than an actual name. If it were Buckstars - "The Art of Coffee" I could see it. It closed within a year of opening. Anyway - with The Brass Peacock, it sounds like you have your article, adjective, and proper nouns appropriately. Good luck - and let us know what you decide! | |
