I am really sad that Michael is gone, he seemed like a wonderful person. I think in hindsight he was accused of so many things untrue, but also a victim of his own bad choices at some points of his life. As he said in one of his many interviews "the truth will come out".
The world can be a very cruel place, and Michael brought a little kindness into it, during the short time that he was here. I missed him the moment I remember hearing on the news that he passed away. I loaded some of his songs unto my Ipod last night currently playing over and over again really loving the song, "Stranger in Moscow" this song along with the video really captures the emotion of what he was feelings most of his life.

Yeah, she Twittered about it. She said she was overcome with grief and didnt perform as well as she wanted. She's trying to cover up for her shitty vocals. Hell, some singers do their best when they feel emotional about something. Not saying she couldn't have been "overcome w/ grief" but what's her excuse for the other times she's sounded like ass??

Cosign Joe has never shown one sign of remorse for the way he treated Mike or any of those children.
In addition, despite what the many anti-religious people my think I bet Mike’s religion gave him what little comfort he had in life it was the verbal and physical abuse from his father that scared him and I doubt Joe was ever all that religious. ----- CalhounSq said: Arnotts said: I kind of feel sorry for Joe with the way some people were reacting to him at the memorial. I know people feel he was one of the biggest reasons Michael was so damaged, but its still his son and he obviously loved him. And I know most people will hate what I'm going to say but I actually think Katherine had just as much a negative effect on Michael as Joe did. I think the religion in which she insisted on raising him in helped elevate so many of his emotional problems. The lack of celebration and 'normal' events, the supressing of his sexuality, and the keeping quiet on abuse was what I felt were his main problems.
The memorial was one moment in time. The bigger concern was how he treated his son in LIFE, which he didn't seem to give too much of a fuck about sadly. Some news show just showed that old clip of Joe saying, "I didn't know he got sick [at the sight/presence of me], regurgitated but he regurgitated all the way to the bank." I'm paraphrasing, but that's the gist of what he said. He didn't seem to care about ANYTHING but the $ Mike could generate. So if he was treated funny @ the memorial, that's his own doing... . First leg of the bad tour (Japan and Australia) was the same show as Victory with a new band, no brothers and a couple new songs. Very good also, but not a touch on the second leg. By the end of the Bad tour (he went back to Japan and a few rescheduled dates in the US) he began to use loops on Man In the Mirror and Smooth Criminal. The Dangerous Tour in 1992 was also a great show. However many songs were entirely looped. Of course the Jacksons tour of 81 was also outstanding, and the Victory tour in 84 was decent. However no good video of the full Bad Tour 88 is available. Your best bet is the yokohama concert from 1987, or the Dangerous show in Buharest in 92. Nope. The last two songs were mimed, and it stayed that way throughout the tour. It was only in the first 1987 leg of the tour that he sang completely live, but as you mentioned the show was just The Victory Tour with two new songs tacked on the end. Unfortunately that meant there never was a perfect Bad concert, since his voice was damaged by the time it really became The Bad Tour in 1988. Still, his performances were great. The Way You Make Me Feel and Man In The Mirror were live in the first US dates of the Bad Tour, so was Smooth Criminal "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

bboy87, do I remember you saying that MJ had recently been 'reborn'?
I wonder if he did know that something was seriously wrong. Especially if what you said is true along with the in-house doc, others being brought back into the fold and the Enquirer's prediction, it's all a little strange. I've read conflicting reports about whether or not he had Lupus. I don't know much about the disease, but does it damage the immune system or cause organ damage? Then adding painkillers to his system would be even harder on his body. But, if he did have Lupus, wouldn't that conflict with the 'he has no diseases and is perfectly healthy' mantra that Randy Phillips was spouting?

(maybe that means something different, like if he had been beaten up or had some sort of injury.) i have to say i'm puzzled. the doctor denies any wrongdoing, no intraveneous drug use witnessed by him. the other doc - mr. i'm not the father - says he too didn't notice anything amiss, although he was worried about past drug abuse. no one else around him noticed anything out of the ordinary, except perhaps his weight. yet he had tons of drugs in the house, apparently. my brother said he'd heard that there was an accidental overdose rider on the insurance policy taken out by aeg. if they were afraid of him overdosing, how did he get coverage? how could mj have passed a physical? i'm confused. on edit: dileo mentioned that mj called him the night before and said he wasn't feeling well. what did mj mean by that? stomach? tingling or numbness in the arms, which usually portends a heart attack? plus wouldn't the live-in doc have noticed the track marks? it's just so crazy.
