I suppose it's easy for some to forgive a person's sins once he or she passes on. I'm not one of those people. the man allowed webster, macauley culkin, and a host of other young boys in his bed. Is there nothing wrong with that?? as a father of three boys under 12, i say there is, and i wonder who among you wouldn't be "drudging up b.s. that people like Nancy Grace report on" to keep your children safe. If my beliefs mean I'm bound for Hell, then so be it. You can't look at one side of mj and not the other. Yes, even I have to pay heed to that concept. I have NEVER been a fan of mj, but today, i've had to tip my cap towards the sky. If i'm banned because of my beliefs, so be it, but thee who banish me should be willing to look at mj's mirror and see ALL the flaws as well as the talent. People who judge Michael and compare him to normal people don't really know him. Often it is these people who throw the harshest criticisms at him. Michael was child like and very shy. He often preferred the company of children because they do not judge you or expect you to behave in a certain manner. He often said he did not wish to grow up and lived his natural adult life like that of a child so that he could relive the childhood that was taken away from him. Unfortunately greedy parents found that they could make millions off him by making up stories about his friendship with their children and a couple of them did. He paid out for the first case because he did not want to open up his privacy to the world, the second case went to trial and he was found not guilty of any of the charges against him. According the the US constitution he is an innocent man who is yet to be proven guilty in a court of law. "Let love be your perfect weapon..." ~~Andy Biersack

I just watched a few of the clips on the news.
Stevie...just wow. Also enjoyed John Mayer. Does anyone know what the crowd outside the Staples Center ended up being when it was all said and done? On nbc they said the estimate was around 2,000 folks. Obviously much smaller than the LAPD had planned to control. I had a feeling it would be small, but has anyone heard any other estimates?

Don't white people have a repast after funerals? Dunno, I ain't White. If so, I suspect it's mostly in the South or w/ Southerners. I watched on CNN, so I didn't hear an explanation. How did they explain it? The reporter said she had to look up the word "repast". Prince, in you I found a kindred spirit...Rest In Paradise.

It's kind of disgusting how the Jackson family exploited that girl. Why in the world should she have to grieve in public like that? To me, that just lends credence to the fact that the children would be in far better hands if they were outside of that whack job attention whore family.

Did you watch the same service I and most folks did? She WANTED to speak. She's not an infant and why should she and her brothers be excluded from celebrating their father's memory? I'm genuinely curious about this. Grieving is grieving and it's healthy to do so. Why should they be locked away from it? Given who their father was, it's absolutely unrealistic that they'd have 100% private grief. You think Debbie Rowe would be better cuz she's so sane? I'm not gonna slam her, but why wasn't she there for HER kids? [Edited 7/7/09 18:39pm]

(no comment) He'd get up w/ the brothers and Janet to thank folks coming off stage. Well, I'm glad you all have repasts. They can be wonderful times esp when you see relatives you don't see often.
