OK, I don't want anyone to take this as a sort of Tupac "predicting his own death" moment, but was there a warning in MJ's song "Morphine" off of Blood on the Dance Floor? Maybe not about his death but insight to his likely addiction to meds? I italicized some of the lyrics, which are of course open to interpretation. In my eyes there is something just a little more depressing about these lyrics than most MJ songs, and creepy, considering the circumstances. Judge for yourself.
