Is it true that they will be burying MJ before the memorial? Oh god, I'm freaking out about tomorrow. Tomorrow will be terrible for me and for a lot of fans i'm sure. I'm not looking forward to the memorial at all because it is so final. I can't imagine MJ underground rotting away. I'm so sad about this whole thing. I know some people might think i'm being silly and overdramatic, but seriously MJ was such a huge part of my life. I just feel sick about this whole thing. I am dreading tomorrow so much. I hope everything goes well at least. Maybe it's best for the coffin not to be there afterall. I don't think that's how i'd like to remember MJ. [Edited 7/6/09 18:31pm] I saw on Access Hollywood today that the casket is solid gold metal, and its price was $25,000. I don't know if it's "real" gold, but, yeah, that's what it looks like. They said Mike wanted to rest at a coffin that James had. Don't know if it's true or not so don't shoot me.

Timmy84 said: Copycat said: Elizabeth Taylor: "Michael Wouldn't Have Wanted Me at Memorial" 07/06/09 Link Pouring out her grief on her Twitter page, Elizabeth Taylor says she's going to skip Michael Jackson's memorial – and she feels the pop star would have approved of her decision. "I just don't believe that Michael would want me to share my grief with millions of others. How I feel is between us. Not a public event," she writes. Taylor, 77, one of Jackson's closest friends, says she was asked to speak at the Tuesday event at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. "I cannot be part of the public whoopla," she writes. "And I cannot guarantee that I would be coherent to say a word." Instead, she's expressing herself in writing. "I will always love Michael from the depth of my being and nothing can separate us." And, she adds, "My love goes out to Katherine and Michael's beloved children." Good for Liz, I wouldn't go if I was her either. Why would she? She was one of the few who stayed loyal to Michael when he lost contact with others. I'm with Liz. Like I said in the other thread (which was pretty much ignored) if I were MJ's mother I wouldn't have any part of this public spectacle. It'd be nice if Prince were to attend the Memorial, seeing as it is just down the road. it aint a funeral, so being a Jehovah's Witness shouldnt come into it, don't suppose he will though, Prince thinks he's above everybody cause he's the one of the World's best musicians. Sadly for him, this last week has proven he isn't above everybody. certainly not even close to the greatest, most loved, entertainer ever. While you're feeling sad for Prince, I am feeling sad for you. It should never be that serious. Thank you! I wish people would stop trying to make this about Prince. For all we know he could have expressed his condolences privately which would be the most dignified thing to do. No need for him jump on the bandwagon. It's a shame it's so underrated. [Edited 7/6/09 17:47pm] His last great song IMHO. Mine too. I've loved a lot of songs since then, but that was the last truly phenomenal one. Babynoz, I've noticed your posts on the MJ threads, and particularly the post about this upcoming memorial, et. al. I'd tried responding to what you said but that thread was so long that everytime I tried responding, my computer would crash (a big THANK YOU to the person who suggested changing settings to prevent that problem...). Anyway, I have agreed with absolutely everything you've had to say over these past 10 days about MJ and this memorial, Joseph Jackson, the circus atmosphere that's taken over; I too wish so much that Michael's family and friends were handling this entire sad situation more privately and with more reverence and dignity (looking at Joe Jackson). Just wanted you to know that even though I've not responded directly, I've read and really appreciated your thoughts about Michael and all that's been transpiring since his passing.
