Was that Candy Dilfur with Rod Stewart?

I was watching David Letterman and Rod Stewart sang a song from his new album. I was half asleep, but the lady playing the horn I think was Candy.

I can hardly imagine that, unless you're confusing Rod Stewart with Dave Stewart!

Candy is all over the place. Check her site and find out!

She played with Van Morrison, Dave Stewart and many others!
I remember her being on a live album with Maceo Parker, the many coloured digipack.
And did she play with Pink Floyd? She might have.

Well we had it in store.
And the Virgin screwed us, so I screwed the Virgin by keeping it's box.

Now that's a strange sentence if you have no clue what we're talking about.

it very well could have been... rod's new cd is a collection of vocal jazz standards... very nice, laidback cd... candy's playing would have fit in nicely...

Yes 1 box and several boxes of other uhm... stuff.

I know you like this box I have, I 've offerd you to make some copies, but like you said, you need the whole thing.
I cannot give it away, why would I do that? It's one of the best things in my collection

btw. the Billie Holiday set is also a great one.
