Yeah it's for sale on Sananda Maitreya's website...
I'm a huge Sananda fan (i may have got a sananda tattoo ) so i may be rather biased! I really love the album. I think he is trying different things and having fun. There are some tracks available for free download on the site from the album. Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/srr636

I'm looking on the website - did anyone get either volume of Angels & Vampires? How was it? I think the cover of volume 1 scared me off & I totally forgot to d/l the music once the shock wore off
I'll be grabbing this one too...

I kinda dug that one but I still think there was too much filler on it. Coulda made an amazing 50 minute disc. [Edited 5/17/09 12:27pm]

i really dug the Angels and Vampires albums but this new stuff doesn't cut it too much for me. I bought all the mp3s.
Maybe the remastered versions will sound better.

I don't think the tracklist posted above is the final tracklisting (I could be wrong). That is the order in which the songs were originally released in chapters from Sananda but when he did the same thing for Angels & Vampires, the final tracklisting on the album had the songs in a different order from the album.
Regarding "Angels & Vampires Vol.1 and 2," I'm as big a Sananda fan as anyone out there and in my opinion, it is a masterpiece jam packed with great songs. At the same time, his new music is somewhat different from his 90's work. All artist go through changes and evolve and so has Sananda. The same magic & soul we all know and love is right there and as great as ever and the man is a true artist who stands by his vision and his music and wants it delivered straight from the source directly to the fans. I highly recommend A&V, I think it's the bomb, just don't get it expecting it to sound like Symphony or Damn or Vibrator because it's different, though no less incredible. And having heard all of the Nigor Mortis songs that have been released, I can say that I can't wait to get Nigor Mortis as well, it's another classic album. I love how he loads his albums with great songs, he's pretty much always done that. If you are a Sananda fan, you gotta hear "At The Crossroads" and "This Town"...those two songs are the bomb as are many others on this collection.

Thanks for the info I like TTD across the board, really liked Wildcard & everything up to that point. I just fell off when he did Angels & Demons & I couldn't remember how it was received by those who dig him. I'll be grabbing that too!

I just hoped this song was a single: Yeah "With A Girl Like You" is a great song and I love that performance by Sananda, he really rocked it! I think "At The Crossroads" or "This Town" or "Mrs. Gupta" would be better "singles," but "With A Girl Like You" is great as well.
