Anyone remember 7th Wonder?

"The Tilt" got a lot of airplay in my area but I haven't heard it on the radio again since it was popular. I've been recording the audio from a lot these videos from youtube and I absolutely can't stop listening to this one. Check out that breakdown beginning at 2:17....dammitt I feel my ass wanting to get up out of this chair. lol

"The Tilt" was my jam back in the day! U and I have alot in common! I was totally into Farrah too, obviously Prince too. How old are U if U don't mind me asking? I'm 41, and I knew about that Farrah single too! I think I remember seeing an ad for it in Rona Barrett's Gossip magazine! That, and the Farrah Fawcett 'Faucet' necklace, so U remember that?
If it breaks when it bends, U better not put it in!

Was "The Tilt" their ACTUAL hit? I only know them from old school hip hop playlists that include "Daisy Lady" (that's them, I think).

I'm 41 also. I don't remember the necklace but I do remember the shampoo and the doll which was her Jill Monroe character from "Charlie's Angels". There was a Kelly and Sabrina doll too.

"Daisy Lady" is by them also. I don't know if "The Tilt" was a hit but it definately got a lot of airplay in my area. Radio was much different back then than it is now. They didn't just play singles, they played album versions and also non-single tracks from the album. Usually the artists chose their second single by the song of their's that seemed to be the most popular on the radio. Radio also kept playing songs even if they didn't turn out to be big hits. Nowadays, if something doesn't turn out to be a huge hit, they just drop it.

I didn't recognize it until the chorus kicked in. I haven't heard that jam in years! Looks like I'm gonna have to plug this laptop back into the stereo this weekend and record some more of these youtube videos onto CD. lol
