Mediocre song. And although I am by no means a fan of hers, I still wish her success.

I really liked the new single, looking forward to hearing the whole record. I think she's going to have a huge comeback.

Hate the lyrics, hate the music, hate the voice disbelief

Horrible song disbelief

I'd still take Whitney over Leona Lewis any day, though lol

Disappointing.

Both performance and song.

It's....a Whitney ballad. Man, I don't know what to think of this. I know her voice only sounds 'aged' due to all that drug use, so I can't really praise it, but it's not bad; but it ain't great either....it is what it is shrug

Man, 'You Give Good Love' was the first song I remember from her and it made me fall in love with Whitney. I was a huge fan, until the drugs and Bobby took over. That's when I refused to buy anything from her because I'm not going to support anyone's drug habit hmph! . Now that those elements are gone (hopefully for good), I'll support Whitney and buy the album, but the magic she used to give me left years ago and this isn't bringing it back unfortunately. I'll always love her though...no pun intended.

I was expecting a "I Learned From The Best" type song....this is lame! And her voice...wow. Odd phrasing, too. I don't even think they are attempting to market this as a hit single. Will this even play on Urban AC? Maybe it's only for the hardcores and than they'll release a pop single? Very disappointing.

The song is very beautiful. Her voice is nice too though not the same.

This is like hearing new Prince stuff. It's technically "new", but you actually feel like you're in a time-warp when you hear it.

P.S. These lyrics are so on-the-nose it's not even funny. Diane Warren your time is up. Please leave the building quietly. We don't want a scene.

When I heard the title, I expected a ballad but with balls. The combo of her vocals and the actual song...just a huge let down.

I love me some Whitney! She is my fave female vocalist ever, but I don't like her new song all that much, I hope it grows on me, but I doubt it.

Good. It might work on the album but it's not a single.

Interesting song. Sounded a bit mediocre at first, but listening to it a couple of times I heard vulnerability, humbleness and peace in her voice. She might have messed up the sound and the physical condition of her voice, but that doesn't mean she can't deliver. As long as she stay true and honest when she sings, she can touch souls like she did in the old days. She has so much to tell and to give. And I actually think she does with this song. Can't wait for the new album! biggrin
