No, just sent his body to the Apollo. I think he had a more private funeral in South Carolina and a public funeral in Augusta, Georgia. The first memorial was at the Apollo in New York. This was done about a week after his death, I believe. All the while his dead body there for the world to see because Al Sharpton wanted people to applaud him for standing up for blacks. I was just watching a documentary on MJ fans during the trial and I have to say at least 95% of MJ's fan base are bat shit crazy!
They can have the whole LAPD out on Tuesday at the Staples center and they wouldn't help shit

I will never understand why he would want to leave his kids with his mom when she is old or even Diana Ross who is also old. Why not Janet or Lisa Marie? Or even Jermaine who has a younger wife? His mom could die any day from old age and grief and Diana too busy still trying to be a star so she may not even have time for the kids.
