Will the staples center memorial be broadcast on Aussie tv? I'm not sure which news programs you guys get but I think it might be broadcast over the net. I don't even know where it's going to be broadcast here other than CNN. There's also been a mention of more memorial events around the world but I really don't see them going anyplace else except maybe to the O2. 12/05/2011

Are you mfs blind?? the differences are more than slight: * much lighter skin * pointy arch on the brows * much wider eyes * nose is modified (implant poking out of the tip) * red lips * the cleft is much deeper As a courtesy, I'll leave the wig alone . [Edited 7/4/09 21:38pm]

Will the staples center memorial be broadcast on Aussie tv? I'm curious - what would this "memorials around the world" thing be like? I mean, do you really want them carting the dude's body all around the world? Or would it just be a gathering of people? I don't get it. How important is it for fans to be able to say goodbye really? You seriously think I'd want his body flown all the way to Australia? I meant a gathering.

I think he had a more private funeral in South Carolina and a public funeral in Augusta, Georgia. The first memorial was at the Apollo in New York. This was done about a week after his death, I believe. All the while his dead body there for the world to see because Al Sharpton wanted people to applaud him for standing up for blacks. I almost fell to the floor when they showed it on TV-One.

What about Jermaine since he was in 2 interviews already? I just don't think it's right to judge him...We're looking in from the outside So we don't know shit! I'm aware that everyone grieves differently & no one really knows what's up from the outside. But Janet made 1 appearance & was very stoic, said a few words & bounced. She wasn't on the red carpet smiling & actin' a fool, & while I haven't seen any of Jermaine's intvs I doubt he's been inappropriate & he is the family spokesperson after all, so he's been required to speak lately. Their reactions are very different from Joe's. If you can't see that, you might be Joe Jackson on 'nis mf I swore I thought Londell McMillan or Al Sharpton was up in here. I was about to get the razor and cut Al's tired James Brown perm off. Didn't he say he was gonna cut his hair if James died? LIAR!

An estimated 1.6 million people registered before Saturday's deadline for the online lottery for a chance at 17,500 free tickets for Tuesday's memorial service for Michael Jackson at Staples Center, a spokesman said.
The 20-hour registration period ended at 6 p.m. Successful registrants will be notified by e-mail after 11 a.m. but before 8 p.m. today. Each of the 8,750 people selected will receive a unique code and instructions on how to obtain their two free tickets Monday, according to family spokesman Ken Sunshine. Of those, 11,000 tickets will be for admission to the Staples Center service. The remaining 6,500 tickets are for the neighboring Nokia Theatre, where the memorial will be simulcast on big screens. To avoid potential reselling of tickets, a single distribution center will be used. Only people with a valid ticket and an unaltered wristband will be allowed into the service, the spokesperson said. City Councilwoman Jan Perry strongly urged people to stay home and watch the memorial on TV. There will be no procession through the city. No details were given about the memorial events, which come as L.A. struggles with a $530 million budget deficit. http://www.dailybreeze.co...source=rss

[Edited 7/4/09 23:11pm] but who will monitor the employees when NeverLand? Prior it took 10 million to upkeep the property... now with it being half owned by another corp they could very well have a say in what happens. Neverland seemed invaded and no longer a place to call home who knows just a observation. This might seem strange but the family should not disclose where they lay him to rest. It might be nice to keep him in Encino on his mothers property. But then again, then she'd have to worry about helicopters

I know many are against the Staples memorial but do you think the family didn't want to incur the cost of the massive final arrangements ? so AEG was the answer given the circumstances?I guess they just can't keep it at family & friends too bad because this would be the perfect opportunity for Katherine to get protective release a statement saying Michael gave himself all these years now as a mother I want him to be in peace. Please mourn amongst yourselves ^ just a wish list you know what else Timmy even on his official site to leave comments some say we will miss you jacko I mean the man said in life he didn't like that term. So people just don't get it still from a human aspect it's sad for lack of a better word, only way to describe it.

I will never understand why he would want to leave his kids with his mom when she is old or even Diana Ross who is also old. Why not Janet or Lisa Marie? Or even Jermaine who has a younger wife? His mom could die any day from old age and grief and Diana too busy still trying to be a star so she may not even have time for the kids.

Crying is one thing, showing up to a medical facility where other people are dying & grieving too is just irresponsible & fanatic imo. Holding up traffic & creating a situation for hospital staff doesn't help anything, it just allows the fans to say 'they were there'. It's bullshit, fan or not...
