WOW! So rare! He doesn't seem to be into the "Heartbreak Hotel" performance much. Seems like something was missing from that. It almost looked like a rehearsal.

I know how you feel. I thought I was ok. Then tonight I was watching Larry King Live from Neverland with Jermaine. When he was talking about Michael writing songs up in the tree, and they broke away for commercial playing "I'll Be There" I found myself crying again. Then I watched the 2003 interview, Living With Michael Jackson, and when he talked about the beatings Joe gave him...with a belt or anything that he could grab, and how he would be so terrified he would throw up and faint...I wanted to beat the hell out of that old man. When Michael started to cry I felt my heart break all over again. "Let love be your perfect weapon..." ~~Andy Biersack

He married a white woman [Edited 7/2/09 10:24am] so did michael. Black and White ... Mike talks about it so much in his songs but i guess he saw it as a label a wall to break down maybe he had a plan to create unity like prince was / is both male and female - mike is both black and white - unity I don't like madonna but I do respect her bring up two black kids as her own this again shows unity - she takes so much from black culture it makes sence to me she would have black kids.. Black and White are culture labels we are all just Human Da, Da, Da....Emancipation....Free..don't think I ain't..! London 21 Nights...Clap your hands...you know the rest..

She said she was a little too dark skinned for Michael. I must admitt the Jackson's were kinda color struck!!! What? , she says they never had sex, but they did kiss ? then she says he was very much a man ? Chemical peels and all of it. And I don't understand it. But he obviously didn't want to be black. I felt like Michael was doing something more to his skin! When Quincy said look at his kids, that really hit home. Somewhere along the line somebody taught him that black was not beautiful. Quincy Jones just told the raw honest truth! What ever you think of yourself on the inside will manifest on the outside. During that last apperances and recently, Michael looked like a mannequin he didn't even look real... It's okay to have your personal preference, but don't alter yourself... [Edited 7/2/09 10:40am] Amen. I really didn't expect to EVER hear Quincy talk so real about Michael. I mean he's only pointing out what is blindingly obvious, but still, I never expected it. As time goes by, more and more details are going to emerge about Michael's skin whitening and the real parents of those kids. It's gonna be hard to keep a lid on it now. Hang on one god damn minute this is coming from a black man who has had a "NOSE JOB" to make his nose look more European and goes out with "WHITE WOMEN" and has kids all over the world with other women and had a "DRUG PROBLEM" How much glass is in his house! TACKY they're charging people to go to a memorial!!!!! & the 2 press conferences on the Part 3 thread - the first one (w/ the tea cup) he just seemed extremely tired & frustrated, I know I would be if I was on trial & kept being asked the same damn question over & over. Second press conference he didn't seem high exactly, but he didn't have a whole lot to say/focus on. Jacksons always, ALWAYS soak up the adoration. Every award they win, they always stand there for too long just looking & smiling, saying "thank you, I love you" that's not new. Just seemed like he hadn't been in front of a crowd for a minute & wanted to soak it up. Lets face it, the mf was 50 - you can't always be spry! Thanks. For some reason I expected you to be more negative. I am glad you´re not. Come on now, I know he was a great talent. & don't forget I adored this man from the time I was a child into the 80's. it looks like that old fart Quincy has lost his marbles by spouting off that bollocks. he wasn't MJ's doctor, so the how the fuck does he know about MJ's medical conditions? Donny Osmond himself confirmed it on UK tv, Just watch the clip. http://www.youtube.com/wa...7F3calBvRY Personally, when it comes down to it, who you gonna believe? Quincy Jones, who probably had zero contact with MJ since 2001 or Donny Osmond? Because Donny Osmond says that MJ had Vitiligo, and you know Donny never lies, he's too wholesome to fucking lie! I'll go with Donny people! Quincy the old fuck has some nerve talking about "not being black enough" and having "white looking kids". Didn't Quincy fuck Peggy Lipton??? A white woman?? WTF is Quincy on? After all, you would have thought he would learned his lesson after 2pac ripped him a new black asshole back in the 90s for "fucking too many white women". Better still, I would love to have seen the face of Quincy after he discovered 2pac was fucking his daughter Kidada and was engaged to her. Old age truly does fuck people in the head it seems! dirtyman - that's harsh but true Let's get some more MJ video's in here and tributes too much rubbish in this thread... Dear old Q....the guy has a steel plate in his head, IIRC. He had brain surgery back in the 70s, so one should keep this in mind when you read what he says. As the English would say, he sounds a bit barmy. Chemical peels don't turn people's skin permanently white Q....don't need to be a rocket scientist to know this. If they did, please explain Jermaine who's clearly had many to deal w/ his acne scars?! I know he was asked for his opinion, but sheesh...she should've thought about it before letting silliness fall out of his mouth like that.
I'm glad y'all are posting MJ vid w/ his brothers. VH1 Classic showed very few Jacksons era vids and that annoyed me. Surely they'll correct this when they do the inevitable marathon on the day of his funeral. Michael performed w/ his brothers at least half of his career and this should be acknowledged. Besides, the CBS era Jacksons had plenty of serious grooves that shouldn't be forgotten, IMHO. The lack of "Can You Feel It" was glaring. That was the most incredible vid of it's day. As for MJ and Motown studios, he certainly rented studio space there in the Thriller era. That's where Berry approached him to do M25. From what I gather, it wasn't uncommon for artists to rent studio space there even if they weren't on the label. I think SOLAR artists used Motown facilities fairly often. I'm amazed someone posted my fav "Off The Wall" song on YT incorrectly. It's "Working Night and Day", not the other way 'round!

Madonna pays hommage to Michael on her upcoming concerts
On the Holiday front instead there are some changes. As previously reported exclusively here the song already contained vocal lines and music samples of Everybody (Dance and Sing Get Up And Do Your Thing) and the new track Celebrate but now as a homage to the late Michael Jackson, Madonna has been rehearsing the song with a whole middle part of MJ music in it. There's the famous "Billie Jean" drum beat and the "Wanna Be Starting Something" hook (the "Mama-se, mama-sa, ma-ma-coo-sa" stuff). Totally a dance number perfect for the 80's part of the show!! Fans will love it!
