They used to play this version in my area all the time back in 1981 and for years I thought it was the actual 12 Inch version of the song and have been searching for it ever since. As it turns out, it was a special remix made at a New York radio station. How the hell did it make it onto the airwaves all the way down in Jackson, Mississippi?

Anyway, anybody else ever heard this version?

Yup, one of our DJ'S here in Philly, Greg "G-Force" Evans, used to through this in the mix when he had his own Saturday Night show a few years back.

At the time there was a compilation-album released with mixes of Shep Pettibone, although Skyy isn't on the one below. I think there's one or a few others of those compilations. Some have also been reissued on cd.
