lenny white I was familiar with lenny as drummer for return to forever(one of my favorite bands). I was famkiliar with him only as a drummer until recently. I have been trying to get as much of his solo work as possible. He is truly a gifted drummer and composing. He also has a very open mind, which I love. Some of his music is difficult to get your hands on. Here is what I have gotten so far: "echoes of an era"(straight-ahead jazz with most of rtf as band and chaka khan doing a surprisingly great job on vocals),streamline(funky with pop, rock, and r n b),big city(big time funk fusion with great guitar work by neal schon and great musicians),and adventures of astral pirates(raw, wild, funk, rock, and fusion).I am in search of a more affordable copy of venusian summer. Prices are crazy on some of this stuff. It is great stuff, though. Check it out. "I'm a pig..so,magic elixir I swill" | |

Great musician. I have most of his solo-work too. There are quite some copies of "Venusian Summer" available at eBay :
