And you call yourself a Prince fan? lol

You think anyone of them have trouble getting access to a studio, and an engineer?
When I write songs, I write them with a melody, so I know how it sounds, the rest is the mechanics, which at the right price, is always available. Ask Prince.

But it's not bad.

The Game's rap lyrics were the best part for me.

lol I think it came out wrong. I meant Wow! How they come up with a song so soon! Not, How (as in asking) did they come up with a song so soon? But to have it written, produced, and tracked in one day is pretty cool. Now I know Prince can do that but these katz? But you know Diddy. He's like the king of tribute songs.

It's best to play MJ songs as a tribute. The only tribute song I dug was "Missing You" and probably "A Song for Donny" (and "Silky Soul") but that's it.

And find three of the suckiest artists of "hip-hop and R&B" to do it. Yeah that's genius. rolleyes

Well you know a tribute song was inevitable anyway. But this IS pretty mediocre. It didn't make me feel for Michael in anyway. In fact it almost sounds like this song was already written and then tailored for Michael only recently.

That's what I thought when I heard it. The intention is nice but I'm not feelin' it. Michael is more deserving than this. Throwing Chris Brown on it doesn't help either. Too little too soon as well. We're still processing his death and there's a song out? Can you give us a moment before you attack our ears?

They never will. And to have Diddy on it is even worst.

Matter of fact you notice no tribute songs to James, Isaac, Barry and Gerald (whose death shocks me more than Michael's). So I could give a damn about tribute songs to MJ. He is his OWN tribute.

I sure hope Chris Brown doesn't use this to revive his career and do a dance tribute to MJ. I remember his performance in a tribute to James Brown at an award show last year. I'm sure with all the young people that can dance, they could find someone else.

Yeah it seems sort of like their capitalizing on it even if they don't mean to. Was it even 48 hours?

Yes! "Nightshift", "Missing You", and "A Song for Donny" are the type of tributes that MJ deserves...Anything with rap on it is not really appropriate I think. But something like from Jermaine or the remaining Jacksons would be comforting.

Well it IS a free download and it's underground which is why you hear that "DJ" spot every minute. Any capitalization is simply them trying to get their star to shine by saying, "See? We love Michael. We're the first to put out a song about his death."

Yeah, they were trying to be the first. I don't care how accessible studio equipment is now days, give us a moment! No wonder it's so lame. Sounds like a rush job. And you know Diddy had to get up in there. confused

nod Thank you!

They could have done something like this with 'Man In The Mirror' playing in the background and it would have been perfect, but nooo, that would have been to hard for their over-inflated egos to handle. They need to go somewhere with this and calm down...dammit, now I'm mad. mad

Oooh, I swear if I see Diddy's (Puffy, Puff Daddy, P.Diddy Pop Pop, whatever the hell he wants to call himself today) or Chris Brown's ass walking down the street, I will totally start throwing rocks and whatever else I can find that is light enough for me to throw at them. Seriously, this is how upset I am with this nonsense. I won't listen to it and it's very seldom that my cheap ass turns down free shit, but this just seems soo disrespectful and wrong to me. Michael made some of the best music in the history of recorded sound and they wanna go and make up a song with Diddy's wack ass and Chris 'I like biting people' Brown. Boyz II Men, if they weren't so amazing they would be on my shitlist with these two nuccas, but they are definitely grounded right now as is The Game. Diddy has always been on my shitlist; but now, he's offically at number 1, where he will stay until he dies. Thanks for sharing Dannyd and I'm not mad at you at all, but these fake ass muthafuckas have got my blood pressure all up with this delve into wackness. Okay, end of rant, and close.
