Now that MJ died. Will be get outtakes and stuff? Wasn't a OTW 30 year anniversay edition planned?
And what will happen with the dozens of unreleased songs? Is usus to release unreleased stuff after an artist's death.

I'm sure lots of previously unreleased demos, alternate versions and tracks of varying quality will be repackaged ad infinitum and sold to a sometimes eager public.
The album he was apparently recording with Will I Am for release next year will most likely also go ahead. It happened with Tupac, Elvis, Notorious, B.I.G, Bob Marley, Jimi etc and will continue to happen. Just somewhere in the middle,
Not too good and not too bad.

And probably a new single. Something will happen. Sad circumstances, of course..

it all depends on what he has written down. for a man so particular
about his album releases, i don't think he would allow from simply any kind of albums of unreleased material to be released after his death. we're talking about a man who laboured over his albums for years on end and scrapped them, went back to the drawing board etc. fcuz i would love to hear as much as possible but unless he made a plan for a situation like this, it seems more than likely that the rights will revert to his children, for instance, when they reach a legal age. likewise if prince died tomorrow, i'm sure there's a 6 inch thick book with instructions on exactly what is to happen to his vault, when, where and under what construction. and without question the bulk of the tapes would be ordered destroyed. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

Someone's def gonna milk his death, and in fact, I would buy the songs as well. I bet sooner or later we will know about the concerts' setlist, the costumes...
