I've always had a secret dream to get the opportunity to be one of those people in the video footage who has passed out from hysteria and crushed against the barricade being carted out on a cot by paramedics at an MJ concert. Never got the chance sad

i remember seeing footage of folks at mj concerts, just crying and passing out and such and just being in awe/hysterics over the man.

This event triggered something in me.

I realized that I had a premonition that MJ was going to die 2 weeks ago.

After reading stuff on the org and what's been going on in his life up to now, I had a feeling he would pass on soon and with that I could feel the sadness.

You're not the only one who had that weird-ass premonition. I just felt something bad was going to happen. It's BAD to feel that way but I did. disbelief

I told a friend of mine about a month ago that I didn't feel Michael would ever perform again. He remembered today that I told him that. I believe in your premonition. The sun has set here in NYC, and it feels darker than usual. I will never get over the sense of emptiness I feel when someone dies.

the most i felt is "he prolly ain't gonna do all those shows..." then there was the announcement that some of the shows were postponed. i was really hoping that the fans would be able to see the remaining shows and not have the rest cancelled on them as well, but now...heartbreaking stuff. sad

This day seems so surreal. I've been in shock the last couple of hours. My mom is also sad. She commented on it being a good thing that she'll be off from work next week to mourn in peace. sad A local radio station posted an MJ tribute mix if folks are interested. http://www.movin997.com/ The crazy thing is earlier today I wondered what it would be like to lose a fave entertainer from the 80's, after Farrah had passed.

RIP to an amazing singer and entertainer. Your music and contributions will live on. sad rose

I really don't think i'll be able to watch his video's or listen to his music for a long time. I tried to watch his video's on MTV, but I keep crying. I can't deal with it right now. I wish this was all a bad dream. My phone hasn't stopped ringing since his death was announced, people are actually calling me asking if i'm okay. I really did love him though. Michel was such a huge part of my life. There were times when I was going through things like parents seperating, identity issues and depression, but listening to MJ's music really helped me pull through it. So many times I thought i'd die, but really listening to Michael's music helped me so much. I will FOREVER be grateful to Michael for sharing his gift of music with the world. He was truly one of a kind and there will never ever ever ever ever ever be another Michael Jackson. The true King of Pop I'll love him always. I miss him so much. Can't believe I am talking about Michael in the past tense. Can't believe when I come on this site or on other MJ sites, I wont EVER read about an MJ sighting again or speculation about new music. I just can't believe I'll never read about Michael in the present tense anymore.

This man is HUGE for me. Always such a big part of my life and there are no words to describe the feeling. I don't think i'll never get over his death.

BTW-I DID NOT WANT TO SEE THAT PIC! I HOPE THEY TAKE THAT ISH DOWN. SO INTRUSIVE.

Words cannot describe how I feel right now. Michael was truly a one off, once in a lifetime phenomenom. No matter what you think of him or his music, he was and always will be one of the greatest pop stars of all time.

There will never be another Michael, never ever. Not just his music, but his performances, dancing, singing, even his style of clothes were truly him and him only. Definately one of most exciting and most emulated dancers aswell.

I could go on forever....

I was born in 1985, and whilst I missed "thriller" and "bad", I still remember kids on my block, in the rough ole' neighbourhood I lived at the time, loved to hear the "dangerous" album 24/7. The videos, the tour, the tv specials etc...

... My silly assed, rat tailed 6 year old self would slot in my own cassette of "dangerous" and dance on the streets for all my neighbours etc.. All us kids did. All throughout 1992 and into 1993. As soon as that "black or white" video hit, we was hooked. Us kids loved him. I still remember emulating the "black and white" video on my block and even at school aswell LOL....

...These long forgotten memories suddenly reappear so vividly to me once again. Its amazing what long fogotten memories can do to you, as I reflect on the millions of ways Mike has entertained me emotionally. I wish I could find those kids I use to dance with and reflect with them, but I hope they remember those days once again aswell, as they were some of the best times of my life, and I got Michael to thank for that.

Mike has got me through some tough times aswell. He made me feel it was OK to be abit eccentic or weird. Mikes voice seems to have the ability to make you think he is singing to you and you only.

Its mind boggling how many people all over the world loved and still love Michael Jackson. And I just hope Mike really knew that.

Rest in peace.
