sad RIP Mike.

I never did see him perform live. Now I never will.

Thankfully we still have the studio and live recordings and videos to enjoy forever.

Though I have seen him in person, I have never seen him perform sad

at the time he was in his heighth, there was no way my family could afford such a concert. Never saw him perform but I will always remember growing up on video and how much impact he had there.

my boyfriend, i love him dearly, has just royally pissed me the fuck off. i'm telling him how i feel, that i feel absolutely sick about this and he's like "well he was just an entertainer, people die everyday, why is he so special that the media is blowing this up when there are people who die everyday of all sorts of ages?" i was in awe, how the fuck can you not understand the impact that this man has had on the world? i told him i'd call him later and hung up because he was being a major asshole.

Isn't that the truth. Everyone knew who this man was, even if you were not a fan,you knew the name.

It didn't really hit me until I played "Billie Jean" just now...then I just started bawling before the opening beats even gave way to the music. I am a bit more composed now, but my cheeks are still soaked. cry

Thank you SO MUCH, Michael. I'll miss you... cry

This event triggered something in me.

I realized that I had a premonition that MJ was going to die 2 weeks ago.

After reading stuff on the org and what's been going on in his life up to now, I had a feeling he would pass on soon and with that I could feel the sadness.

Oh my Michael.. cry May you rest in peace...

I used to have nightmares about him dying back when I was a super huge fan and back when being in your 40s seemed close enough to the grave to worry about his health... but I always reassured myself that it wouldn't happen till he was in a good old age. I didn't expect that in only a few years I would be watching CNN reports on his sudden death at age 50.
