I've read about that, too. Like Supa said, Micheal was surrounded by vampires, and I say vultures. I wouldn't be surprised if it's foul play.

or even at his own hands.

I hope he didn't kill himself.

I really don't think i'll be able to watch his video's or listen to his music for a long time. I tried to watch his video's on MTV, but I keep crying. I can't deal with it right now. I wish this was all a bad dream. My phone hasn't stopped ringing since his death was announced, people are actually calling me asking if i'm okay. I really did love him though. Michel was such a huge part of my life. There were times when I was going through things like parents seperating, identity issues and depression, but listening to MJ's music really helped me pull through it. So many times I thought i'd die, but really listening to Michael's music helped me so much. I will FOREVER be grateful to Michael for sharing his gift of music with the world. He was truly one of a kind and there will never ever ever ever ever ever be another Michael Jackson. The true King of Pop I'll love him always. I miss him so much. Can't believe I am talking about Michael in the past tense. Can't believe when I come on this site or on other MJ sites, I wont EVER read about an MJ sighting again or speculation about new music. I just can't believe I'll never read about Michael in the present tense anymore.

This man is HUGE for me. Always such a big part of my life and there are no words to describe the feeling. I don't think i'll never get over his death.

BTW-I DID NOT WANT TO SEE THAT PIC! I HOPE THEY TAKE THAT ISH DOWN. SO INTRUSIVE.

from the time thriller first came out up to the time i first discovered prince and purple rain, i was an MJ fanatic. i had the posters, the records, the 12" singles, the bubblegum cards, all that stuff...i remember the first time the long-form "thriller" video aired on MTV and what a huge event it was in our family to watch it for the first time, and how wowed we all were. and of course, the motown special before that, where he did that dance that everyone in my school spent weeks trying to figure out...and of course, once someone figured it out, we were all moonwalking across the playground like a bunch of fools.

i think just about every person who is of the "generation x" age group at least remembers michaelmania and i'm sure there are more who will admit to getting caught up in it than there are people who will deny it. for those of us who were kids when michael was at his hugest peak, his appeal was hard to ignore. plus, most of our parents watched him grow up and they listened to the jackson five when we were just babies.

i'm not laying some kind of generational monopoly of grief here, because i understand there are children in the here and now who love him, and there are people my grandparents' age who love him, but speaking from my experience, i think it's almost impossible to be in your late 20s, your 30s, or early 40s and not feel like a bit of your childhood evaporated today.

but i know EVERYONE is freaking out about this. it's like when john lennon died...you didn't have to be a big beatles fan to be hit hard by the news that he was gone. he was just one of those people that you never thought would go away. when someone is that huge and that legendary, it's hard sometimes to remember that they're human and that yes, they do have expiration dates just like the rest of us...and we can all go at any time.

life is fragile. for all his pomp and celebrity and superstardom, michael was fragile.

it's a really sad day. sad

Let's just show some respect to the great talent that has passed and before you post, think about the humans on the other side of the screen that have lost one of their musical heroes.

We don't need unfounded speculation and gossip right now.

very, very true. it's like, if you weren't into michael back in the '80s, you most likely knew a friend or two who were huge fans of the man. michael mania was damn near inescapable back then! lol i had a michael jackson doll, me and my nieces used to watch the "thriller" video on mtv every halloween, i remember listening to my copy of bad on my tape recorder in the back seat of the car when my dad and i traveled to louisiana after my mom passed away...wow.

I was just thinking the same thing. I remember watching Thriller for the first time, and falling in love with Michael. I had a paper grocery bag filled with articles, and pictures that I would cut out of newspapers or magazines that had to do with him,and my friend, and I would sit on my bedroom floor, and go through them, and read them over, and over all the while listening to the Thriller album. It is a very sad day. sad
