I realize some of you are still in shock from the news but come on why are some of you even still debating the "status of confirmation" from cnn? MJ is dead, at this point it is pretty clear. RIP Mike, I was never a huge fan but the man deserves due credit for his accomplishments ¶ēą¢ė, Måĉ

mozfonky said: Timmy84 said: It really does. In fact the way it's reported is MUCH LIKE the way Elvis' death was first reported. Ironically when they found Elvis, he had undergone cardiac arrest and people had to keep the media from reporting it because reporting about Elvis was like reporting Big Foot, he, like MJ, had become an enigma so reporting about him was headline news. So when his death was first announced, some people said he was in a coma, then they said he had chest pains. Finally that afternoon, they confirmed the news that Elvis had left the world at 42. And now I'm seeing the same reporting on Michael's demise. And I'm hearing some guy on cnn saying how the idiots around michael were pumping him with pills, now that's not a reporter saying that, it's a friend of the family. But still, for rumours like that to come out this soon, i don't know. and if i forgot to say it before, michael I love you, you gave me great inspiration as an artist. I've read about that, too. Like Supa said, Micheal was surrounded by vampires, and I say vultures. I wouldn't be surprised if it's foul play.

Very very sad.
I know a lot of sillyness always surrounded him of late, but this is just awful. I hope his music won't sound different now, sad rather than jubilent. Hopefully he is somewhere good. "My God it's full of Stars"

In the last year I've had a few close friends diagnosed with cancer and a brain tumor who ain't even 40. And I keep asking: Is this the age we are now, where our contemporaries are sick or dying? And now this. Goodness. Michael, Prince and Madonna...Remember how we used to be bumping them on the house radio and tryin to stay up late to watch them when they performed on tv shows? They were the end all be all, and we didn't have a care in the world back then while we were listening to them...we didn't picture them not being able to dance all over the stage, let alone be in bad health. Lawd knows I haven't paid much attention to any of these folks in years, but if I swear if something happens to Prince or Madonna's haggly behind I'm just going to be a hot wreck. We are not children anymore.

I live several miles from MJ's boyhoood home in Gary, Indiana. There's over a hundred people gathered outside and a memorial is setup, flowers, stuffed animals... mayor and people talking to camera crews. This is a tragic tragic shock.
Cardiac arrest...just makes me wonder if he pushed himself over the limit physically (dance, singing, diet? exercise?) in preparation for the upcoming 50 shows at the 02 Arena.

Thank you for the memories...
Every year when I was little for Halloween we'd go over to my mom's friend Margie's house after we were done Trick or Treating and we'd watch Michael Jackson's Thriller. one of my favorite memories of my childhood. I have never heard him bad talk others or get nasty when people talked all the crap they did about him. He was always a positive person no matter what. I truly loved the guy and just can't get over that he is dead. FACT: Apart from then-Sony CEO Tommy Mottola, Michael never ever had a public feud with anyone. Michael never even argue back publicly at Paul McCarthy. I remember when Paul was talking about Michael taking his records or something Paul changed his voice to sound like Michael...mimicking him...obviously was angry at MJ unlucky7 reincarnated
