his siblings appear to be responsible enough parents and there is the mom. i think they will be looked after and cared for. but still so sad for them. he was their primary parent/cargiver

And I'm hearing some guy on cnn saying how the idiots around michael were pumping him with pills, now that's not a reporter saying that, it's a friend of the family. But still, for rumours like that to come out this soon, i don't know. and if i forgot to say it before, michael I love you, you gave me great inspiration as an artist.

i'm sure there were many vampires around him. Just ilke with Anna Nicole.

Damn, you're right about that. confused Damn, this is reminding me of Anna Nicole!

I know! I feel so bad for the kids. they're so little. I'm 18, and I can't imagine losing my dad. They're still little.

I'm just saying that a string of magazines will put MJ on the cover when those same magazines wrote a bunch of rubbish about him. The tribute shows will soon come on... People that didn't even like him will start idolizing... UGH!

I agree. bawl Being a former Jehovah's Witness, I remember after Thriller when we were forbidden to listen to his music and I sneaked and listened anyway. I just didn't think God hated him just because he made a video about zombies. disbelief

Controversy sells. Thriller is still THE #1 music video of all time in the USA & worldwide.

I'm more calm but the tears haven't stopped. I don't care if people flame me for being sad. He was my hero. I loved him like he was my family. His music got me through being constantly teased in school, my parents divorce when I was 9, my cousin passing away 2 years ago, whatever problem I had, his music made me feel better and that's what he was about: Love

hug
Co hug

I am so sorry bboy.

Although I wouldn't expect a press conference, the three are separated in age by months and in Madonna's case just days from MJ. Plus, they all peaked professionally around the same time. sigh

I think they within 100 days of each other.

Yeah, this isn't the time for any of that. People feel what they feel about it but there is no denying the fact that he touched the world and we all grew up with him as a force to be reconned with. I'm incredibly saddened at the lack fo peace in his life and would rather have seen him live to get through to the other side in a geniuine way than to leave his issues unfinished. He is truly free from his pain now and that is one of the only things to take joy in right now.

cry

I was a fan of Michael's way before Prince. I used to kiss the tv anytime he was on a show. I remember the day he was on Motown 25 I was about 8 and I stayed home sick with an asthma attack that day. But when he did Billie Jean I jumped up and started screaming and dancing while my mother gave me the sideeye. "Sick, huh?" whofarted He always had that effect on me. rose

I had all the stickers and buttons and posters

Yep its true but I don't think anybody actually disliked him. More like they found in odd and there was always something quirky to write about him. Good or Bad there were always MJ stories to tell. It is the absolute respectful and right thing to do - pay homage and tribute. He deserves that and he earned it. sigh

See, now you made me bawl again...I loved that damned song so much.

It's okay to cry. I was very sad when James Brown died.

But you know what ... even though MJ's death surprised and even shocks me, I am not sad. I think he wanted to go. I always believed that Michael would never make it to 50. I think that he always wanted to be youthful and never show his age ... and in the past ten years, his life wasn't exactly the most rewarding.

He had a great life, and he leaves such a gigantic legacy behind ... we should celebrate that. He'll be an icon forever, like Elvis.

Still refuse to believe it, a cardiac arrest? MJ dead? This is such a tragedy. 100 times worse than when Elvis died.
