I keep hoping this is all some bad dream, still can't believe it. The guy I grew up loving so much and idolizing is dead. Michael and his music have touched my life so much and his music has touched many others as well I know. This is a huge loss for the music world. I just can't believe he's gone. It really does. In fact the way it's reported is MUCH LIKE the way Elvis' death was first reported. Ironically when they found Elvis, he had undergone cardiac arrest and people had to keep the media from reporting it because reporting about Elvis was like reporting Big Foot, he, like MJ, had become an enigma so reporting about him was headline news. So when his death was first announced, some people said he was in a coma, then they said he had chest pains. Finally that afternoon, they confirmed the news that Elvis had left the world at 42. And now I'm seeing the same reporting on Michael's demise. | |
