Carey's new single, "Obsessed," is at No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 this week. (Billboard.com excerpt, July 28th)

I heard something about her label being worried about the lukewarm reception to her first single. Apparently there's some concern that she's stayed too far from her "pop" sound. That's what a report on the radio said, but who knows...I just know that "Obsessed" was not all that. Pretty forgettable.

anybody caught her interview with mtv yesterday?

she said there's going to be lots of live-sounding stuff with big jim wright dancing jig

she also mentioned the Timbaland collaboration, and said she's been a huge fan of his work since day one.

about time we started getting news on the album!

oh, and to those who haven't heard it, he's the demo to her next single Hate U love

although according to her tweet, dream's demo got no shit on her fab version lol
