I know it's not a fan favorite, but Nightlife is the one I go to most often. I like the way it tells a story and it has a nice of mix of uptempo stuff and ballads.

"Yes" has really grown on me, but i'm frustrated that the best song (IMHO) - "This Used to be the Future" - wasn't on the main album.

It should have been the first single!! The combination of the PSB sound with Phil Oakey is classic.

Oooooh, that's a toughie... but I think I'd have to go with 'Behaviour'. Apart from the fact it was the album that got me into the PSBs, it's just a beautiful, wonderful, heartbreaking album. EVERY single track is amazing.

Beahviour is such a beautiful album. To Face The Truth (it was writen in 1983) is such a sad, sad, SAD and beautiful song.

Anf whenever I feel heartbreak I turn on "The End Of The World", with the beautiful message: "it's just a boy or a girl, it's not the end of the world"

You wouldn't get those songs from their PopArt album.

I also like their tracks for Liza Minelli, especially "Just' Can't Say Goodbye"...

'Being Boring', of course, is just AMAZING - but I also adore 'My October Symphony' and 'Only The Wind'. It's a classic album. I think my other favourites would be 'Bilingual' - which divides a lot of fans - and 'Nightlife'. Oh, and 'Alternative'. The only album I've ever struggled with was/is 'Release'.


As for their collaborations, I them! The Liza album ('Don't Drop Bombs', 'So Sorry, I Said'), Dusty (which has one of my all-time Top Ten songs 'Nothing Has Been Proved'), Boy George ('The Crying Game')... so many. I still have my fingers crossed that they will hook up with Diana Ross and give us the ultra-camp-pop-dance album that I know she stll has in her.

I have all the PSBs' albums - regular and expanded versions - and it's been some time since I listened to them. I've never picked up any of their bootlegs, though...

That's a hard question to answer, as all of them are good to varying degrees.

on the 2001 remasters, they big booklets Neil (and sometimes Chris) comment on each track. Since Neil is quite talkative and has a great memory he recalls every detail of the songs.
