It's long overdue for sure. The DVD in the Limited Edition of BLACKsummer'snight is pretty cool too. I've only seen it at Target though. Not sure if Best Buy and FYE were just out of it, or it's a Target only exclusive. | |

Guess mine was out of it. I wasn't even aware of a deluxe edition, but I was just shopping for the lowest price. I knew I'd probably find it at Target regardless, and I was going there anyway. I happened across the Deluxe, and snagged it. | |

So, does anyone have any thoughts on his tour strategy?
He had the pre album dates last fall, which did well, selling out most shows. Now he is doing this "secondary" market tour of smaller cities with the successful album actually out, and I hear those shows are not selling as well. And he is supposed to do arenas next year? I wonder what this approach is all about? | |

Countdown Begins.....
I will be seeing him at NJPAC in Newark 7/22....I'm so close to the stage that I'm scared!... I was two rows at the Musicology tour and I had this nauseated feeling and wanted to pass out. I really had to collect my nerves. Prince up close is ...well....whew.....yeah.....ya know..... OK you guys just know I had a moment right there..... Now what am I'm suppose to do about Maxwell!? That's too cute! I wish he was coming back to SF area soon! I have missed every single one of his shows for 10 years, something always comes up. I would be just as excited and unsure of my shoes too for the same reasons. Have fun! Let us know how the show was!

I saw his show here in Vegas about 2 weeks ago and I gotta say that he def. reminded me of Marvin Gaye on stage. On record, he may occasionally remind me of Prince style but not on stage. It was a good show, not great but def worth seeing. He did dedicate a song to MJ and it was cool. I didn't like that he was almost an hour late getting to the stage but I'm sure the concert achieved the results a lot of guys were hoping for when they took their woman
