Esthero - "Breath From Another" Breath From Another (1998) I bought this album shortly after its release, and I revisit it at least once a year. I listen to Wikked Lil' Grrrls sometimes too, but it doesn't feel as crisp as this one. Clearly, they're fans of Portishead. Heaven Sent That Girl (the first I heard from them when I saw...uhhh...I Still Know What You Did Last Summer ) Country Livin' (The World I Know) Half a World Away

Esthero is WICKED!
Loved almost every song on her debut. Where is she now? Great stuff. Reminds me of Morcheeba's stuff from late 90's

I liked them better as a duo, but I like some of the new stuff as well [Edited 6/22/09 10:10am]

[Edited 6/22/09 10:10am] Is she doing solo stuff, too? I meant a duo on their debut. Esthero was then jen bea and doc Doc left after the debut so Esthero became a solo act, but he did 2 or 3 tracks on Wikked lil' Grrrls

And the tracks they did together on the second album are the ones I like best from that set.

I got introduced to Esthero by that shitty Chris Rock movie I had to track down "Country Livin'" I've picked up a few albums but have yet to give them a real listen. Like what I've heard so far though

That's no worse than me being introduced to them through I Still Know What You Did Last Summer.

I love the second half of this record! Flipher Overture Half a World Away Lounge Superheroes Indigo Boy Swallow Me I like Wikked Lil' Grrrls, but it's not a patch on that debut. "Blanket Me In You" is my favorite from that record.

I like her, but her Lil Girls didnt have anough power that "We R In Need Of A Musical Revolution" had..that song drew me in hard when I saw it on Npgmc (PRIIINCE WHAT ARE YOU DOING MAN!!?!?!?COME ON ALREADY!?!?). But the album itself had me wanting more than what was offered. Straight Jacket Funk Affair
Album plays and love for vinyl records.
