Lalomie Washburn - Background vocals ... I din' know that The Clare Fischer's string touch is very evident. Ms. Brigette McWilliams has a few Chaka-isms going on vocally. In fact, it sounds like a song Chaka could have done. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. It's especially funny, given the the inclusion of Bobby and Tony, Clare Fischer, and the fact that Paulette basically chose Chaka to be her replacement in Rufus.... ... This album is pretty damn good. I'm about to bust it out tonight for this slim-goodie to peep. Thanks for remindin' me, Pali! I'll probably bring out Alison Crockett as well. [Edited 6/23/09 10:01am] nWo: bboy87 - Timmy84 - LittleBlueCorvette - MuthaFunka - phunkdaddy - Christopher

I'm intersted I'd say Too Much Woman(1997)is her best...her last album, "Starlite Lounge"(2006)(released in the UK, under the name Brigette[she married Steve Romanek, so she dropped the last name] is really nice, too, but IMO, not quite as strong as "Too Much Woman". I don't really like her very first album Take Advantage of Me(1994), because it had too much of a "new jack"/machine-y feel to it.... BTW, Starlite Lounge (2006), also produced by Steve Harvey, has more of an overall Bossa Nova theme, with a few R&B tracks thrown in... Much too Much is a good example: ...
