I see your point However I can not subscribe to the beleif that some have that It's ok if you are a guy to be assaulted by a female but never retaliate. I was always raised to treat people the way you'd like to be treated.which means to don't put your hands on me and I won't respond by putting my hands on you. assault is assault it should not be looked at any differantly when the aggressor is a female. If I assaulted someone I may not like it but expect to get it back.

I am not condoning Chris Brown's action's but I do understand how it could happen because I've been there.Though I did not respond in the same manner a few years earlier I would have and did. But at this particuliar time when I was assaulted I called the cops and once they got there and saw that she (wife) was the attacker there response was. " can't you guy's talk this out like to resonable adults". Which I am sure they would not have done if I had been the attacker or retaliated.

I've been there too. But, I know that to be the better person, it is always best to walk away. Treating people as how you want to be treated, is just another way of saying, "An eye for and eye"...Well, that will only leave the both of us blind...

Good thing you're not a judge. Molesting somebody is much worse. 100 years is fine with me (unless it was a statutory thing in which case it depends). Of course I agree Brown needed some jail time too. Give him a couple of years behind bars and maybe he would have learned something from all of this.

There should be no plea bargains. People should have to do their time and once they've served it, their records should be clean. (Murderers, armed robbery convicts and violent sex offenders need to stay in jail) On top of that, all inmates should be put to work and earn their three meals a day-- nothing inordinate just 8 hours a day like everybody else. These guys should also have limited access to the things we enjoy so they aren't completely bitter fish out of water once they're back amongst us. The legal system needs to be stern but we mustn't forget that these are human beings too.
