After seeing the video, Perez just comes off like a total drama queen. If he was assaulted by BEP's manager then of course he should take that to the proper authorities but that flood of expletives directed at Will.I.Am and Fergie (who clearly had nothing to do with it) was uncalled for. He probably should have released a statement after he had calmed himself down a bit.. And I don't understand why he didn't call 911 (or the equivalent number in Canada) instead of Twittering about the incident on his mobile.

Perez twittered at least 762 characters, which means he could have dialed 911 at least 254 times!

I hope the Toronto police arrest his ass for getting his followers all worked up and typing up the emergency lines from the folks who had REAL emergencies at that time and if anyone did and they couldn't get through because of this stunt, I hope they sue the fuck out of his ass because this was all for attention and publicity, plain and simple!

Perez has since modified his statements from Twitter and said that will.i.am followed him from the club, to outside the club, to the hotel. He said that their manager, Polo, is the one who hit him three times in his eye, drawing blood.

will.i.am said he didn't hit Perez, and from Perez's own words, that's true. However, he could have stopped the manager. The manager was will.i.am's bitch and hit man, literally.

Although I'm not a big fan of Perez, or the Black Eyed Peas (come on....they SUCK), there is NEVER EVER a reason to hit someone.

One fallacy I found in will.i.am's video post was that Perez alleged called him a "faggot". I call bullshit on that one. Perez is gay of course, and hates any sort of gay bashing, and realized that being gay isn't a punch line in a joke, or a giggle among friends about someone. There's no way Perez would call will.i.am a faggot, especially in this sense, where a lot of people like will.i.am would probably drop that F bomb because it "means something else". I wonder what would be said if Perez said will called him a "ni**er" ? Sounds insane right? A black guy calling a latino a "ni**er". Insane, right? The same logic applies in thinking that Perez would call anyone, even will, a faggot. will's lying on that point.

Despite me not liking Perez's site or what he does... I have to go w/ Team Perez on this issue. If Fugie and will.i.am can't take some heat, getcha ass outta the kitchen. Are they gonna go after Harvey Levin and TMZ next? Or X17? Or any other blogger that says they're shit? How lame of will and the BEP.

You realize he didn't make the video as it was happening? He's obviously back at his hotel. If you watched the whole video, he said the cops were called, but they said there were bigger emergencies happening. We don't know when and if they showed up to talk to Perez.

And let's be fair. IF the words were correct, Fergie confronted Perez first at the awards, followed by will.i.am, twice. Will followed him out of the club, and his manager his Perez. We'll never know if Will told his manager to take care of Perez (wink wink nudge nudge), but the manager was obviously around and part of it. Artists don't usually just wander around alone at an awards event or even an after party. A manager is always within arm's reach.


Why? Would the facts have changed? Who cares if he called Will a motherfucker? If the facts are as he stated them, Will IS a motherfucker, and so is Fergie. He wasn't curled in a ball on a sidewalk Twittering. You don't understand because you weren't there. Neither was I. We can only go with what was told so far. If he was in a car or trying to get somewhere safe, he had a moment to twitter. But if you call the police, they want to know where you are, and where they can find you. The police aren't going to follow your ass around in a car. It was probably best that Perez did go to the hotel to be safe. Although Will allegedly followed him there too.

The fact that he got hit at all is inexcusable. Frankly, if I were him, I'd file it as a hate crime and go after Will and BEP and the manager with everything I had.
